One downside to sleeping naked is now if there's an emergency now you have to worry about clothes before evacuating or the cops showing up. You would also need to make sure you clean your sheets often so you don't risk getting an infection. I live in the American southwest. Is Summer time in my state temperature gets anywhere between 95°F and 100°F. Houses here are cooled with an evaporative cooler so i sleep with no pants but still a shirt and underwear.

2 things to keep in mind. Most homes in Italy do not have air conditioning, and there are supposed to be health benefits for women sleeping with their lower half uncovered. She's right even if she doesn't know how right.
