ICP is far from centralized. Its true that Dfinity nonprofit foundation (bascially a group of engineers) drives a lot of coding work, hence the misunderstanding. But its run through a DAO and anyone can contribute to its development. Its a huge mis-statement, and needs to be corrected. Govenernace aside, technology-wise ICP is very decentralized as well.
