All of the figures relate to their respective song. This one, the blockhead represents denial of problems in the relationship. (don't ever want to talk about it) (going half-blind when looking at me) The cape is tattered and torn from previous battles. (the cycle of toxicity) No shield, dual axes, all offensive berserker mode.

Oh hell yes! It's a great day to Worship ❤ I would still recommend The Apparition, Dark Signs or Jaws! Edit: All of the songs of this album have a "figure", but they aren't explained. I think this song is literally about a car crash, there's another mention of "marks on a dashboard" and scars in Dark Signs. Vessel does have visible scars on his arms with an unknown origin. The heavy drop preceded by a screech/squeal sounds like braking tires and the following drums sound like a rolling car. However the entire catalogue is about a bad relationship, and he's great at double meanings. Again, Worship ❤

They are visual representations of the guardians to Vessel's personal Eden. All represent something he must overcome (like a video game boss) to be able to return to the garden. At least that's what I made up and makes sense to me. Note Are You Really Okay? Artwork / Guardian which has an umbilical and some kind of infant being nestled, perhaps representing that which was lost when 'The Bough Broke'. The lyrics make sense... The tragedy of miscarriage - possibly, another personal demon he must overcome to find peace and move on.

Idk if youve picked this up or been told this by many comments but the band are anonymous (unless you go on an internet rabbit hole but i like to respect it and not look too closely) But i wish i knew more about vessel's background The sulfur/granite science lyric in this and the whole sciencey lyrics feel of Alkaline, id love to know what hes studied outside of music. Crazy smart

They have many songs that are great and some good live videos out there too. Dark signs and take me back to eden are 2 bangers. If you are going to listen to dark signs i'd recommend to check out the Drumeo version of it which II (the drummer) plays through live with the drums
