On record, singing and screaming is done by Matt Heafy, live he does whatever is front and center in the song (~80% of the vocals) with the lead guitarist (Corey) doing backup screams, and the bassist (Paolo) doing backup singing. On their most recent album, Paolo and Corey did some vocal work on a few songs. You should check out Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr Live at Download 2019, its classic Trivium giving a massive live performance!

I'm glad you liked this song! This is the song that really got me into guitar. I remember the first time I heard how mournful the guitars sounded and how they almost seemed to speak what the lyrics were saying. When I first heard it, I had chills and my mouth was gaped the fuck open for the entire song. (Btw yes, that was a guitar solo!!! And it's one of the best solos they have EVER written - in my opinion) I told you you'd really feel what the lyrics were saying in this! You can really picture yourself there can't you! You can really feel it! Now: for your next Trivium Tuesday, there's a song called "In Waves" and it's their most popular song (arguably lol) it's absolutely BRUTALLY heavy and has one main heavy riff that is so headbangable, you'll love it!!! And for your next "non-Trivium" reaction, you should check out Viking Metal! It's called: "Twilight Of The Thunder God - Amon Amarth" and it's such an EPIC song about Thor and his realm. I think you'll love it... Sorry if you've already planned on doing it after I requested it on the last video I believe... But just gotta remind you in case you haven't wrote it down haha!! Great reaction man! So glad to hear you're enjoying Trivium. I've been listening to them for about 7-8 years, and I've loved every bit of it!! Glad you're hopping aboard the Trivium Train!! Until next time man!!

Departure would be an amazing next step. It's from 2 albums earlier, and absolutely gorgeous.

Matt is the only one who sings and screams in the album but when they play live, Corey(lead guitar) back up screams and Paolo(bass) back up sings. Also I want to remind you that Trivium's full production live show is this friday. It would be really cool if you did a review of the show or something. Also it will answer alot of your questions about the band.

You’re crushing it with these reaction videos! Another golden song by Trivium that is less well known is Broken One. It’s a bonus track off one of their older albums. Paolo’s bass work really shines through in the song and it’s a savage banger as well.

YES!! Always coming in clutch with a great video when I get off of work!! Absolutely LOVE this song. Can't wait to watch you watch it!! This IS classic Trivium, off of Shogun, the same album as that 12 minute song you reacted to and LOVED. Okay, about to watch! Edit: I'm now at 5:12 and I wanted to clarify. Matt Heafy does Vocals and Rhythm Guitar (occasionally he's lead guitar, it just depends) Corey King Beaulieu is most lead guitar (occasionally rhythm guitar) and backup vocals, and Paolo Gregoletto (I'm not sure how to spell his last name) is bass and backup vocals. Now, Corey Beaulieu if I'm not mistaken doesn't really do MUCH backup vocals except when they play live. When they play live, he does the very deep growly vocals you hear because Matt has a higher "screamy" vocal sound. Paolo does backup vocals, but he sings, he doesn't scream at all. So, for example, Corey will usually come in and do the part where Matt sings "The mast is broken" and you hear in the back "MAST IS BROKEN" - that's Corey. Idk how to explain it, I'm horrible at explaining things lol, but anyway I'm gonna finish this video up now!

if you like Trivium, definitely check out their livestream event this July 10th! The tickets is only $9 and they will play like 17 songs and it's gonna be 100% live! (not a pre-recorded session)

Okay, I am going up your metal vid list from old to new and I’ve figured out what you are evolving into. You are literally evolving into a new breed of metal head, because you’ve been given some solid, solid suggestions. So its like learning from the best of the best. You’re going to be teaching we old fuck METALHEADS something soon! :-) Keep it up man.

If you want to get an idea of their live setup then you should definitely check out some of their live videos from chapman studios. "Down From The Sky" is the best one for the vocal duties and how they're shared out. "Suffocating Sight" is also a monster performance too.

By now you should do the rest of the Shogun record ( my and a lot of peoples favourite album i think.. ) i always see some people requesting songs by bands that are mostly their more popular or most listened songs ... in metal music imo a bands most popular songs is rarely their best songs... like for Trivium In Waves and Heart from your Hate , both amazing songs but far from their best IMO... but i think in the end youll just listen to Triviums entire discography and have your opinions on their songs... Trivium is my fav tho btw , cant wait for you to get more of them

He Who Spawned The Furies breakdown is badass by Trivium. Different than the typical breakdowns every band does. PD is great too, especially older songs.

I check the audio on the videos before I use them and most have pretty solid audio. I'm moving away from lyric videos going forward though, just so I can see the feeling instead of guessing. We'll see how that works
