With that GNX car posted on his burner account in March, that means he would’ve had to have planned out the beef, preview the victory lap song in Not Like Us which is preparing the world for ‘West Coast Kendrick’, the pop out promo was on the license plate of a GNX, the actual pop out had strong west coast ties on top of that. Scary dedication and planning.

Kendrick Lamar's project "GNX" feels like his own version of *Killuminati: The 7-Day Theory*, a modern-day homage to Tupac's raw and unfiltered love letter to the streets of hip-hop. Pac’s original was a declaration, a farewell drenched in vulnerability and defiance-a piece of his soul poured out before he was poised to ascend to even greater heights as an artist. Similarly, Kendrick’s work reverberates like a deeply personal message, etched in the DNA of West Coast hip-hop. It’s more than an album; it’s a canvas of gritty stories and heartfelt truths, woven with the spirit of Compton’s streets. The beats echo with the weight of history, every lyric sharpened by the struggle and resilience of his community. You can feel the smoke of the block, the sun setting over Los Angeles, and the weight of generational pain and pride in his cadence. This is Kendrick standing at the crossroads of legacy and innovation, pouring out his soul not just as a tribute to what came before, but as a promise to carry the torch forward. Like Pac, he’s not just writing bars-he’s writing love letters to the streets, cementing his place in the lineage of West Coast greats.

The album is great and all but saying that him doing absolutely nothing other than releasing 2 snippets, only 1 of a song on the album and then dropping with no announcement was a good rollout, let alone a rollout at all is top tier glaze. that's not a good rollout. Once again the album is phenomenal but Tyler brought hype to his, didn't bs, didn't waste time, and delivered while Kendrick literally just dropped unannounced. There was no hype over a rollout because nobody knew it was happening
@satyarthsingh22765 күн бұрын
It's production will def go down as a staple in modern G-Funk West-Coast Rap Music, it's ratchet, gritty and has a 90s old-school "insert the cassette and ride to it" energy to this. Good old west coast hip-hop, Chronic, All Eyez on Me, Doggystyle, Makaveli type shit.

KDOT said “ol boy” referencing Drake and how he tried to pay people in his city for dirt on him. How could the second verse be about Dinah Washington when she died in 1963 and quaaludes weren’t on the streets till the late 60s and 70s? I thought it was Billie holiday but she died earlier than Dinah and Etta? So it really is a toss up at this point
