Legal fishing grounds are known for being highly pressured and tough to fish even for seasoned anglers. It can be very demoralizing for new anglers when they find it hard to catch anything, sometimes even after multiple trips to the same place. In this episode, together with Shi Hong and Jubel, Fred explored Jurong Lake and Kranji Reservoir, showing us some tips and tricks to catch fishes with lures!

Jurong lake legal grd is one of those place which is over fished. I have been there over 30 times and only caught a handful of peacocks. macritchie legal ground is the worst. I have not seen anyone caught anything there so far. If you can try Macritchie as a challenge it will be a nice video!

The issue with MacRitchie is the ground is too small for lure fishing. It also pose a danger to other users in this reservoir as it is so close to the canoeing club. We have given our feedback to PUB and will not feature this ground for safety reasons. Legal ground is a harder place to fish due to the limited space and angling pressure. The purpose of this series is to give our viewers some ideas how to fish each legal ground.

Out of all the Reservoir and legal fishing spots which would you recommend ?

These 2 that are featured today are on the west side. There are more places that you can try. Most of the reservoirs hold fishes but it is harder with the limited space and angling pressure. Lower & Upper Seletar and Lower Pierce are some of the grounds that have bigger space. You may want to start with these grounds.
