One of my favorite songs ever made. This is the type of music that saves people, that gives them a light in the darkness. I know, cause it's done that for me. This is a really underrated song. It speaks to me on so many levels. I came from a long line of drug addicts and Alchoholics on my mom's side. I decided as a child, not me and not my family. I saw the pain and I saw how it ripped people apart, it destroyed lives. I loved these people because they were my family, and many died long before their time. My mother still struggles and so does my uncle to this day. I pray for them everyday. My encouragement to any of you reading this, no matter what you come from, or who you are, no matter your background you can overcome if you choose to. I know it's hard but rise above your circumstances and situations, keep pushing through, keep working hard, because you are worth it and your future is better than your present or past. I believe in you. I know you can do it and if you didn't have any role models to follow in your life, choose to be your own role model and be the person you want to become. You can do it. I know you can.

This song helped me through my detox period from illicit drugs and pharmaceutical drugs which I think the latter is so much worse I've got so many things wrong with my physically and mentally because of all prescription meds they gave me and certain ones when you forget to take them you get so physically sick that you never forget to take them again and it's why do they make drugs that make you physically dependant on? It's a cruel world and now I'm going to hospital appointments maybe once a fortnight if not once a week and thankfully I live in England otherwise I'd be in a lot of debt right now, I can barely walk, I've got short term memory loss , I have seizures, lesion on brain , stage3 liver disease, gallbladder removed, enlarged spleen , arthritis in my knees, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, and early menopause etc etc all from pharmaceutical drugs and that all started to happen 3 yrs ago and my age now is 40. So don't take any drugs unless you really really have too.
