a bona fide hero of the sport, whatever country you're from, he's a true pioneer, sportsman and protector of cycling. Legend!

Great cyclist and a massive inspiration to me as a teenager watching the races, the best times in Pro Cycling. That final time trial in the 89 Tour was amazing to watch and remember it like yesterday I was 16 but got to be one of the most inspirational things I have seen. Deserves a place in the top 5 sporting moments. Seeing that inspired me to train hard.

I remember watching Greg Lemond and Bernard Hinault riding side by side on Highway 267 in Lake Tahoe. They were both racing The Coors Classic.

Greg LeMond signed my second Lemond TVT Carbon Fiber bike on a visit to my hometown (the first one was destroyed when I was hit by a car pulling onto the street).

Greg Lemond was/is awesome. It is such a shame that the shooting accident occurred and got in the way of possibly 2(?) more TdF victories. He is the greatest American rider to date and I am sooooo happy to see his business success with bikes and carbon fiber, etc. Chapeau! BTW another great video by Rapha.

Not just that, but the long term health effects will be with him the rest of his life. When he exerts himself...it can take him weeks to recover because of how his muscle disease ruins his ability to eliminate lactic acid.

Per Ardua how so? Bike clothes are necessary bc they’re functional but most brands are garish. Rapha gives people the opportunity to have the functionality without looking tacky. I know there will always be poor people who hate on expensive things. But Rapha costs the same as most of the other brands, so what could possibly be your problem?
