At his last LAN (Myztro IronFist) where he beat Raisy, Rapha said he was happy to prove himself again away from his ISP and connectivity issues. When Rapha's upset with his own performance, he says so. When he's getting outaimed or outplayed, he says so (remember vedmedik duels anyone?) Despite the teaser here, the LAST thing Rapha cares about is ELO -- and notice too he wasn't the least bit concerned with whom he was playing, but only about the technical issues. He's streaming here obviously and talking to chat about his game minute by minute. p.s. Rapha is a positional player, laser tuned into the precise (and hopefully) accurate sound details of movement, jumping and item pickups -- the core of his playstyle. That goes jank, so does his game -- imo pretty impressive he was about to close it out, but guessed wrong at the end.

In QL the netcode massively goes in favor of the one warping, not so much in QC that's why it's possible to play at 80 ping there. At least that's my experience so far. I was even able to play on NA west when there was still a datacenter there, with 130 ping. In QL that's not really the case. Also noticed the Russian datacenter is down too.

Not going to claim anything, but a lot of people leave in the 90s ... Cheats nowadays are super smooth and very hard to tell. And pretty much every single one has a toggle option. Good luck catching a guy constantly toggling on/off, as well as running on LFOV aimbot, or some smooth aimlock. This is for some guys that are claiming the game is free of hackers, it is not. Just like most FPS titles, it's full with it. It's just nowadays super hard to tell which one is hacking or not, unless he is some noob kid, who doesn't care and go blatant. And this is just the free versions everyone has access to, guess how a private one that cost $$$$ will looks like.

Putting on headphones and bracing myself for 24/7 cursing XD Edit: wasn't so bad this time. You don't really have to be a progamer to run away with Nyx as long as you hit your rails. It was close but 1) Galena isn't a good chaser 2) Rapha lost timing, at 5:48 heavy spawned but he was away checking 3) 9:33 Nyx spent last invis, could equalize but goes for armor instead. ELO loss seems way too high, that will take a long time to make up. At the very least it's questionable matchmaking.

Elo originally is a rating system for chess matches, which determines how many points you lose or gain after a match, Rapha lost 603 points after this one. it's kinda default to call an arbitrary matchmaking rating system (MMR) Elo too, but i'm not sure if it's possible to lose 600 elo in a single match with the original formulas

Isn't rapha in NA? This just looks like he connected to EU East servers honestly. If I ever play over 80ms for some reason, I leave as well. Last time it happened, the game had switched on US servers as well as EU.

Didnt play much champions but can see some obvious engine jank. Obviously connection is playing a part but some of this ridiculous. The rocket to rail on the first fight for mega was so janky especially considering the guy just point blank ro keted himself in the face, the fact he went for that just had me scratching my head. Let alone how the rocket and rail connected.

The way they managed to undo 20 years of netcode with this game is truly disgusting. I already wasn't a fan of this game because they added asymmetry and varying hitboxes/stats to a game which is designed to always be a symmetrical, no luck competitive experience. But add the nonfunctional netcode to it and you've got one of the worst games I've ever seen, that fails at everything it sets out to do. Then they make pros like Rapha who have to compete at the high level play this travesty and ruin the competitive scene for everyone.
