So excited for SSR Rapi! I'm sure it's gonna be mixed on another EVA collab, but I am glad to see eye-patched Asuka and Long Hair Rei Ayanami. Even as an EVA fan I probably won't go too hard on the new Asuka/Rei probably just 1 copy of both and save for Stellar Blade Collab which I'm way more excited for. And being able to finally wishlist Pilgrims is gonna be so nice!

You guys realize that this is not a copy paste rerun, right? The first 3 Evangelion characters will be returning and Mari is one of best Burst II units in the game and The first versions of Asuka and Rei are an insane Fire Burst III duo. And we are getting another Asuka and Rei duo that should be as good or even better than the first version. The first round of collab didn’t go so well, not just because of the skins, but because they mixed up the Eva story with school girls (Which was a dumb move) combine with the fact that the reference they went with was one of most forgettable episodes of the 90s series. Which made no sense because Shikinami didn’t even existed (That was Asuka Soryu and wasn’t even a main focus on that episode and she’s completely going now) Heck Mari wasn’t even a bit of an idea for a character at the time. And now she’s the actual main female Eva character. Asuka is more popular because Mari didn’t even exist back then, while again, Asuka already had a version at this time. Watch the Rebuild Movies. This is not copy rerun and it looks like they actually learned from their mistakes. It’s really thanks to Evangelion(Sci Fi, drama, dark psychological, action. Comedy, fan service Thriller) that we have Nier, Nikke and Stellar Blade. Give Eva the chance and respect that it deserves.

2nd eva collab is an L. Wish rapi had a better design for the banner. Its good for the story but feels mid to summon for its the same with a color switch. Overall the news for everything else is 🔥 they cooked, overspec, pilgrim wishlist etc !

They explained in the livestream on why they kept new Rapi's design as close as possible to the original. If they changed Rapi's look completely it wouldn't even be her at that point anymore. She's the poster girl of the game so she needs to be recognizable. It'd be a shame to throw away her original design completely.

I think the new look is great. But now that she's an SSR, she will most definitely get some new skins. This was the right call for her base. She needs to look like SR Rapi.

How is that favortism? Cinderella is already the most busted Electric Code DPS and Defender in the game. She also becomes much stronger based on her Max HP on top of ATK.

@joshuag8 Are you really bringing the lore accurate BS here? I mean look at Absolute who are strong lore wise but a complete joke gameplay wise. Red Hood being a triple burst unit is just a gimmick to make people pull for her. Red Hood was also weaker when she first launched before everyone dogpiled Shift Up. Cinderella is already OP right out the gate and that's without her Electric Code support units.
