Too bad it has taken you so long to face up to your problem and fix it. New residents obviously didn't do due diligence before buying. This erosion has been occurring forever and has always required some type of sea wall, but no one wanted to pay for it.

If you look at Cromer you will finf the finest sea defences you can build that were made years ago. This is what is needed in many places in Norfolk. Strong government action is needed. cancel HS2 and look after Norfolk

I was in Hopton, which is not so far from Hemsby last month. The sea defences there are great. Hemsby should follow there model.

Really erosion scaremongering now. Erosion is a natural event which will always happen the same as climate change shock horror. The shape of islands and continents are constantly changing. When you live on a beach front property guess what ? Basic geography schools used to teach at 8 year old.
