It's funny that in his email he stated that used mines because they have bonus against shields, but then used rapid-fire emps so the toss didn't have any shields anyway.

Besides that, half of the time those mines weren't part of the battle either. Prime should visit Florencio Since School to learn how to deal damage with mines.

I think our terran believes that the battery becomes invincible when the protoss presses the superbattery ability. He also probably thinks that EMPing a superbattery will affect its ability to heal :)

Free tip: open your barracks and hold A (for marines) for like 3 seconds. If you're floating so much, and you know the opponent is coming to attack you, you need to get as much production going as possible without missing a beat.

Also can somebody explain the physics behind this? Where does the energy foe the shields come from? Does the battery become a magician and create energy out of nothing then or what? @@timd7399 It... I... the energy comes from the nexus... the nexus uses energy to supercharge the battery... sc2 has some wonky physics but this one seems straightfoward to me, the resource used to supercharge batteries is literally nexus energy.

classic "but this has a bonus so therefore it auto wins" mentality compounded with the belief that shields are actually that great. Shields are such a small portion of most protoss units effective hp its almost ridiculous. Can they be important? sure archons, batteries and certain hit and run tactics rely heavily on shields but in most major battles the shields dont make a huge impact considering their lower armour and only a small amount of overall hp. Going overboard to remove them to the point where you have nothing to deal with the rest of the protoss is silly.

I strongly doubt it. You'd still get a lot of marine shots wasted into shield recharges between EMPs, plus wasted dps from the ghosts casting EMP instead of shooting.

At 19:00 Harstem says Prime took a really good fight. He says it like three times. But Prime started with even supply, lost all his units, and the analysis shows Terran in fact lost 3300 resources and 34 supply on the trade.

The analysis was incorrect, it didn't include the 6 carriers and 1 tempest that were lost in either resources or supply lost. Protoss lost more even though they were fighting over protoss static defense and the terran had no medivacs.

Now.. I am not a good player myself, I am terrified of ladder and sticking to just completing brutal mutations in Co-op for the most part. Although seeing this makes me wonder how far I would get if I tried. At least I know better than to just send my units on a death march one by one into my opponent and then wondering why I lost. How common is this level of "skill", and how high up the ladder does it go? The most painful moment of this whole thing though was that Archon. First I was like "he has ghosts and he EMP like mad, that Archon should not get to do much" and rightly so he EMPs it right away. Then he proceeds to ignore it as it starts tearing through his small bio army, killing them all. It's like... for the love of god man, just click it, that is all you have to do and it is gone, but no..

onece in taiwan i had cherry tomatoes dipped in suggar, they had stwarberies, mangos and other fruit like this... need to say, it was fucking delicious and probably the best combo. Need to say that i tried to replicate it home and it sucked, need to have fucking good tomatoes. :))
