The loss of a red zone offense, the receivers being rusty and no separation was a big part of the loss. During running plays the Niners blocked in and there was no holes for Mason to run through. Too many times the safeties where beaten deep not seeing the receivers fading to open zones.

Vikings fan here. The Flores defense is tough early in the year when you don't have tape to watch on it. Also Minnesota's depth is crazy... our WR 3,4,5,6 and RB2 brought the thing home.

He didnt have CMAC in 2019 superbowl or the NFC championship 2 years later and had made Garapollo look like pro bowler & Purdy look like a MVP. Calm down, Kyle is about as good as it gets. He has made this team what it is. I give credit where its do. He has proven to be elite over and over again and if he doesn't have the greatest game we start to hate even before we watch the break down and see what the actual problem was? Lets be more realistic. Outside maybe Andy Reid there's not 1 coach in this league I would honestly take over Kyle and if you would, your lying to yourself or don't know football.

Mostert was undrafted and Kyle found him and turned him into a pro bowler and Mitchell was 7th rounder and made him a potential pro bowler if he could stay healthy. I dont understand why people make up negatives and get fixated on them. I mean no coach is perfect, even Andy Reid couldn't get over hump without Mahomes. I get why other teams want us to get rid of Kyle, so we suck again. But if you a Niner fan be real.

It’s funny how people say Aiyuk is not doing nothing because it was obvious that was the Vikings number one main goal was to not get beat by BA they literally had their two best cover guys on him most of the game Stefan Gilmore was playing off coverage 10 yards off and directly behind him was one of the best safeties in the NFL Harrison Smith. He had four catches for over 40 yards. That’s 10 yards per catch with no drops at this level. It’s on the QB to get the receivers the ball the QB has to play with anticipation and throw the receivers open.

Unbelievable. That call to short pass on 4th and 1 on the goal line, with the game Mason was having NEEDS TO BR TALKED ABOUT. Two plays before that he chose to throw as well.. I literally am baffled at times by the play calling from Shanahan. How do you not realize the home field advantage going on? How do you not pound their defense until they couldn't take it like the team philosophy? Shanahan clearly thought going for it on 4th and getting stopped wouldn't be a problem cause they would be in their endzone, but that goes to the second point WHERE IS THE DEFENSIVE LINE??? It was hard to watch Slinging Sammy scramble on us... ⛏️⛏️

This was Kyles fault. Week 1 we ran the ball down the jets throat this week he comes out and was throwing a lot more. On 4th and goal from the 1 and he throws it? Give the Vikings confidence and the ball and then one blown coverage later a huge 97 yard pass td to JJ. That's the turning point of the game.

We don’t have a right tackle now special teams as usual is terrible. It took a perfect pass to Jefferson for it to be a TD. Cousins would have underthrown the pass and Jefferson would have been tackled immediately or it would have been intercepted, incomplete or DPI.

No pass rushers were close and he had way more than enough room to step into the throw, so it was disappointing. [After a holding penalty wiped out a completion to Jefferson in the end zone, Kirk threw a 99-yd pick-6.] After Addison ripped the ball from Charverius Ward and turned a second Ward INT in one half into a TD, Cousins said he had tried to not overthrow Addison. The announcer said [falsely] that the ball was underthrown because a pass rusher was in Kirk's face. They lie to us! 😄
