I still remember the annoucement at Malayan Railway KL station... It goes something like this.... Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please. The north bound train to Butterworth is due to depart from platform one in five minutes time. Will all intending passengers please boarded their respective coaches immediately. All well wishers please keep clear of the platform area. Thank you and have a pleasant journey. I really missed that wonderfull moment.

Not lying thought.. I've seen so many people feel asleep during on board..No wonder AMY announcement very loud bcoz literally people would feel asleep very lena bcoz AC sejuk, smooth dc torque motor sound and low noise railway..Event cuaca panas outside, still can feel the freezing ac..My favourite line for jalan² while healing².. 😆

Yep, these train are manufactured by (CSR Zhuzhou) now CRRC.

There are new announcements for Maluri, Chan Sow Lin, Plaza Rakyat, Bandaraya, Sultan Ismail, PWTC, Titiwangsa, Bandar Tasik Selatan, Sungai Besi and Putra Heights. Unfortunately, the train no longer says "Stesen Terminal" at Putra Heights. It only says "Stesen berikutnya". This is my own conclusion: The "Stesen berikutnya" / "Next station" and "Stesen" have been standardized. So the recorder only has to record the station name (and other information) instead of the phrase as well. This results in Putra Heights being announced as "Stesen berikutnya" rather than "Stesen Terminal"

Thanks for the heads up, I’m aware of the new announcements being use on the train too. For the moment there won’t be any announcement recording for this line until the section between Bandaraya - Sentul Timur reopened.

@@WKX076 ah, I assume it's because you couldn't get the clear announcements for that section and now there is no train service between those stations. Hope for the track to recover soon. I also wonder when the next station is Sentul Timur and the train is from Putra Heights, will it say "thank you for using Ampang line" or "Sri Petaling Line"

@Quayuh Ampang/Sri Petaling line is a semi automated system (GoA3) with capabilities of upgrading to fully automated system (GoA 4). However the trains are built with drivers cabin onboard, but they’re they to monitor the train throughout the journey as the acceleration and braking are all automated.

The old ones are fully manual, drivers do all the controls themselves.

The Lrt AG/SP has the fastest acceleration of all rapid kl trains. Also This lrt is almost qualified as an mrt

Our LRT is actually categorised as medium capacity MRT in Singapore, just slightly smaller than mass capacity MRT. But LRT has since been used due to the way we categorised it as LRT at the beginning.
