Oh my god I can’t wait to get these! They look so amazing! Y’all did a great job on them! If you guys don’t mind me asking how long do you predict it’ll take for the F40PH-2ds to finish production once production starts? And is there any way to convert the DC ones to DCC with Lok sound? I was sadly only able to pre order the DC locos due to financial shortages, but I’d like to convert to sound in the future! Anyways! I’m addemately looking forward to this release and your future releases! They all look amazing! And sorry for all of the questions!

If all goes well production will complete early in the new year with delivery over the winter. DC units can be upgraded with ESU Next18 decoders and we'll have them available to purchase at some point in the future.

I keep hearing about people having problems with their LRC cars not coupling and having rolling issues and what not! Which makes me a bit weary about buying them. Is there any word on why so many people are having problems?

We haven't had reasonable complaints about rolling - they are inside-bearing trucks and will never be as free rolling as needlepoint axles. But the couplers have proved unreliable in this batch. We're making some tooling changes. If your couplers don't work, get in touch and we'll send free replacements from the new batch.

They were worn out and in need of rebuild. Unfortunately at the time all the big railroads were retiring the last of their MLW locomotives.
