Hi, please help! We have received our noa1 and after that we received an RFE. And on another piece of paper it asks if we met through an IMB (international marriage broker) we have to answer yes or no and the answer is no. I want to know if that is the only thing they ask for because we don't want to mess things up by just mailing that piece of paper with the correct answer. We don't know what else they ask for in an RFE. I am so worried. We have untill April to send it but I don't know who to contact for help.

Hello, so I work part time right now, which clearly is not enough income to get approved. But I will see my fiance to be in January and start the process as soon as I can. I plan to get a full time job and quit my current job but the new income will not reflect on my financial documents and it would be less than a year. Also I'll be living in my sister's home with her but household size makes it even higher income requirement even though I have no dependents. So what is some advice on this?

We are closeted gay couple and planning to file K1 visa soon. Coming out will put my family into shame and cause me to be disowned by my father .Unfortunately there is still a stigma attached to being gay in the Philippines. I am a US citizen. Born here and have lived here all my life. I have no problem proving financial ability. I have a Filipina girlfriend and I would like to get her a k1 fiance visa. I have been told that in order to get her the Visa I have to execute an affidavit of support which legally obligates me to support her for 10 years. Is that true? I have also been told that no prenuptial agreement would stop that 10-year obligation from being legally enforceable in court. Is that true? Assuming both of those facts are true doesn't that mean that a girl could come here with the k1 Visa then we could get married within the 90 days and then she could promptly sue me for divorce and get it let's say within one year and at that point even though we are divorced and no matter what prenuptial agreement we may have entered into still I would be required indeed legally obligated to support her for 9 years after we are no longer husband and wife. Is that true or not? If it is true then what kind of person other than a complete fool would enter into such an agreement? I know that love is blind as they say but is love also idiotic and crazy as well? This is a very serious question because it's the only thing that prevents me from attempting to get a k1 visa for my Filipina girlfriend. Please answer this question. Thank you.
