When I listened to West Coast music I felt like I was really in Compton. When I listened to East Coast music I can feel brisk air winter approaching. When I listened to David Banner he was talking about my life and my home of Mississippi (Gulf Coast area Biloxi) we don't have that anymore

Being honest....listening to music outside of the music you do as an artist,rapper,etc. It gives you insight on what to create ideawise...and its mostly nothing you can feel...for the most part...its more moody if anything nowadays...& having an ear for what feels & sounds good come with a certain level of maturity...most rappers listen to music outside of rap like the old school preferences to say the least...so its about insight & internal reflection that most rap songs these days cant give you...
