I swear on everything that I didn't know it went down this way. Nature dropped the ball heavy. He threw away his potential for 60,000. I would have never signed that deal. Never. This is why Nas is still around and owns his masters and label. Because he never looked at short term money. Nature is a huge disappointment. Possibly the biggest disappointment ever in the genre. Everybody back then knew he was next. Throw away because he couldn't wait on Nas to get back off tour? What? A guy that is considered a hip hop legend at this point wants to throw everything but the kitchen sink on your project and it is squandered. What a failure

The point was that Nas was trying to put him in a better position and he went behind his back and went somewhere for way less money. You have to remember that Nas knew a lot of people that were big at the time like Dr. Dre, Jermaine Dupri, Diddy. He would have put Nature in a position to win. No excuses on Nature's part.
