One of the reasons I love Japanese music so much is that it tends to throw all conventions out the window. In western music we have defined genres and people stick to those genre's which is the reason why so many songs basically use similar notes and patterns Ed Sheeran actually did a thing where it played songs and pointed out how all these songs can easily be replicated because they all use similar notes and patterns. But with Japanese music a lot of then ignore conventions and create their own genre's and unique sounds or they blend multiple genre's together in very unique ways allowing songs to sound very different from one another. They also have a lot singers with very unique voices and they do a lot of interesting things with their voices further making them stand out from western songs and singers. Of course there still is a lot of cases with similar sounding songs but there's still so much more variety and uniqueness compared to the majority of western music.

I actually started watching Dr. Stone recently because of all the reaction thumbnails I’ve seen, and let me tell you it is worth the watch! Hey Nick, it would be cool to see you react to some GODLY underrated OSTs from some other anime such as EIGHTY-SIX: 86 and Made In Abyss. I'll name a few of them such as "Tomorrow", "Hanezeve Caradhina", "Transcendance and Hanezeve" and "The Rumble of Scientific Triumph" all done by Kevin Penkin for Made in Abyss. Or "Avid", "Voices of the Chord", "Hands Up to the Sky" and "LilaS" all done by Hiroyuki Sawano for EIGHTY-SIX: 86.

Avid is literally the best ending out there, voices of the chord is also a good version of it, hands up to the sky is ok, and LilaS is super powerful ost. And i didn't even watched 86 yet, its just Hiroyuki Sawano being himself. Made in abyss osts are insanely good too, i think First Layer is my favorite. Didn't watched it either tho... Damn i really need to watch these shows, like, how there can be a bad anime with such bangers

I really recommend Burnout Syndrome's (Dr.Stone) Music. They actually make banger songs being the most notable in my opinion is in Haikyuu. Literally made me hooked up into volleyball and changed my life.

I'd recommend you to watch "The first take" channel. They get Japanese singers to sing their songs in just one take. Many of the openings you've reacted to are there too! My favourites from their channel are all the LiSA's ones, but almost every song there is amazing. 😊

Hey, give some Haikyuu! openings a try, they are pretty much all absolute bangers. Also domestic girlfriend op, Kekkai Sensen op and ed 1, tokyo revengers ed, FMAB openings, beastars op 2, cowboy bebop opening 1, dororo op 1, noragami op 2, neon genesis evangelion op 1, love is war op 1 and 3, dr stone ops, and any song by either EVE or YOASOBI are all ridiculously good. I'm gonna keep copying this on every opening reaction until u do it btw.

Some openings i've enjoyed a lot are Noragami op 1 (Goya wa machiawase) and 2 (Kyoran hey kids), and Toilet Bound Hanako-kun op (No. 7). Unfortunately these aren't very popular shows and not many people know them, so if you will ever do another part you should definitely react to these

The openings for Domestic Girlfriend, Re;Creators, Land of the Lustrous Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These, Kekkai Sensen, Code Geass, Takt.op Destiny, One Piece and Gurren Lagann are all bangers. All of them are good shows besides Domestic Girlfriend and Takt Op Destiny though. Also the song Angel of Salvation by Galneryus is among the greatest pieces of music I’ve ever heard.

I think you should really check out the intro for Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun. Now, as ridiculous as it sounds, the anime is not THAT weird. It has the word toilet in the name, but trust me, it has nothing to do with toilets or potty humor. The visuals and the intro song is pretty fire and I feel like you would really like the song.

you should listen to the first opening of "Moriarty the patriot", it's called "DYING WISH" and there is also a longer version of it, i don't see people really talking about it much but i personally think it's a masterpiece, and i haven't really found any other anime opening that sounds like this one, i think you will like it

Speaking of anime openings, you can react to the "Fate: Zero" opening "Oath Sign - Lisa" "Assassination Classroom" opening "Bye Bye Yesterday - 3-nen e-gumi utatan" These are just some that came to my mind. But what I really want you to react to is the "DeathNote" soundtracks. All of them are sick IMO. I specially recommend "L's Ideology", " Light's Theme", " Mello's theme B", "Near's Theme A". But the one that's gonna bust your brain is " Low of Solipsism". Believe me, you'll love it.
