First the girls are dead except for Lisa ( the sign : heaven is a place where nothing ever happens) and there’s another one that says ( dead people thing’s for sale) but as u see heaven in the mv isn’t beautiful or perfect ( sign that says : exit only ) behind Jennie, this means that they aren’t completely dead “ a lil bit something like” ( a line in the song) they still need to use the exit to be in a better place also Lisa ( the part where she was wearing black jacket ) she was walking on a crossroad ( the bridge in her part is a way between life and dead ). How did jennie , rose and jisoo die? Well u can see that rose and Jennie where wearing over size jackets that don’t really fit which means that it has to do with love ( boyfriends in general) their relationships where very important to them. Jennie : her boyfriend cheated on her , u can see in her part behind her was a yellow car with a sign that says ( I hope she was worth it ) and the blue sign on the building behind her says ( you owe me / look what happens with love ) in her solo part she was walking on a table with alcohol and bubble bath ( she killed her self in a bath after getting drunk). Rose : her first part says ( so easily with ur harsh words u put scars in my heart / I whisper in the mirror let’s slowly let this go / you take me for granted) it like she’s addressing this one person , rose was in a abusive relationship notice how the room she was in is so messy and the tv is broken and there’s in her part some destroyed statues which symbolizes her body means the bf killed her by abusing her physically but she didn’t do anything before coz she was so in love with him. Jisoo in a one part she was wearing men’s clothes, holding a skateboard, she died by getting hit by a car while skateboarding notice how she’s sitting on the front on the car .. and the pink smoke in her part symbolizes her soul when she got hit. So what about Lisa ? Lisa is still alive but on a bridge as a said so what does that symbolize? She’s in the hospital , the pink balloons symbolizes her sickness and the green smoke is her boyfriend waiting for her to come back when notive how she said ( this a letter from me to u ) she’s basically going to die soon u can see how she said her line while waking the other side , her other line says ( before the dark night traps me / done leave me / don’t leave today ) she wants him to stay with her in her last moments. The question is why they can’t use the exit and live in a better place ? The answer is they not together yet , they’re waiting for lisa also u can see how they didn’t interact with each other at first even if they were in the same place it’s because lisa wasn’t there but after she died and joined them they started dancing and hugging each other , u can see some people wearing white waiting to take them to the other life but they didn’t pay attention to them. Moral of the story no matter how imperfect the place they live in , if they’re together they will find happiness, after Lisa joined every thing changed and the sad place is a happy place now they don’t even need to use the exit anymore ( be with who loves u and don’t stay in any abusive or toxic relationship just becoz of love ) this is the message. It is a sad song 😭😭.....first story is about rosé whose bf is abusive and due to abuse and imprisonment by her boyfriend she's left and dead alone. Second story is about Jennie whose boyfriend cheated on her and she left him so that he can be Happy with his new girl and Jennie was dead due to despair. I am not clear about jisoo's story here but she might have died by car accident. Knox! The meaning behind this video is amazing!! Supposedly all the girls are dead except from Lisa and they all died because of love. That's why at the beginning you can see signs that say things such as "heaven is a place where nothing happens" and there's also a sign behind Rosé when she sings at the beginning that says something like "dead people things". They all died because of love so for example Jennie killed herself because her boyfriend cheated on her, that's why the sign behind her says "you owe me" and "i hope she was worth it", and Rosé was killed by her lover, that's why the room where she sings is completely destroyed. However, the girls haven't gone to heaven yet because they're not all together. Lisa isn't dead yet that's why she sings in a hospital and also walks on a bridge as if she's debating between life and death. At the end of the video, we asume Lisa dies too because she's the last one to arrive with the other girls and they only look happy once they reunite. And then, the people dressed in white at the end appear as "angels" or something, and they're there to take the girls to heaven because now they're ready. The other things I would recommend are: -Jennie Solo -Jennie Solo Remix (from their online concert, she had a new rap that was 🔥) -So Hot Remix (they performed this at an award show, it is originally by a girl group called Wonder Girls and it was very cutesy and girly, but Blackpink put a nice spin on it) -Their cover of Sure Thing by Miguel is amazing. Jennie and Lisa had co-written their own raps for that cover. -You mentioned this during your livestream, but the How You Like That song making by Genius. One of their producers called 24 walks through how the song was made. -Many people are also suggesting Kiss and Makeup by Dua Lipa ft. Blackpink. I believe this song was to the fans (I'm taken for granted but I still need you), to the ones who got sent home during the YG training days (those in white under the big sign), and to each other - the big hug. They know already that all they have could end. They don't want it too. They weren't putting anything new out for a while. But I believe they WANTED to. I real blink loves all of them. Maybe not every song but to appreciate all of them and want what's best for them. Like not performing with an injury. This song is so real. So much emotion. First time I heard it, I was literally crying before the end of the second line. Felt like a wimp ---BUT--- it's a letter to Blinks.

The theories about this song are wild. It is suspected that all them went through traumatic experiences. Rose was in an abusive relationship(bruises and broken objects around the room) and her boyfriend killed her. Jennie was cheated on so she killed herself(i think) her moments clearly show pure depression and even suicidal thoughts. Jisoo apparently was skateboarding(she is swinging in a skateboard) and got hit by a car. Her set mostly had a car in the back. While Lisa, for some reason was in a coma,her scenes mostly were in a hospital. The green smoke represents her lover waiting for her to come back. But clearly she died and joined her friends in the afterlife. The people in white are probably angels(or it could be about them going through different mental phases and the people are their demons)
