I always like to imagine this song is from Jennie's pov specifically. She gets a lot of attention in the tabloids and twitter about the guys she's seen with -- sometimes verified news, sometimes just rumors -- and a lot of folks pass judgment on her and bash her about it. It really sucks, particularly because when male celebrities are gossiped about being with many women, there's very little judgment (unless they're cheating). But knowing that makes me appreciate this song more, lol, especially the "play dirty just like all of the fuckboys do" bar and the hook where they specifically say "do it like the boys say, I'm gettin' mine". Fuck the double standard.
