I know you’ve done a lot of Suga and RM but keep an eye on J-Hope Knox, he’s crazy good in his versatility. I think he slides into his verse on every single song in a different way. Plus how rhythmic he is and he’s crazy with cadence and ad libs! Even if he started rapping later than the other two he’s still just as talented! Tbh as an army (tbh ex army, I just left the fandom), this comeback wasn't good. I prefer old BTS not the present highly autotuned and attitude having Bts, they were so humble before. The rap and vocals were I guess okay but there's more groups like Skids who are better now than bts in every way

Thanks Knox!! Great vid!! I wanted to tell you about J-Hope's line that had some different meanings. He actually said "We proved it. The 7 Chowons* with our million dollar legs". Chowon and million dollar is a movie reference (marathon) and it's about an autistic man who competes in a marathon (BTS made this same reference in Baepsae too). But Chowon also means meadow hence the literal translation. At the end they're saying 'Run beautiful' instead of bulletproof. As usual, a lot of meanings which come out over time as people digest the song and translate (thank you ARMY translators if you read this!).

I understand people are keen for the translations after any new songs drop but I really wish army wouldn't give views to those channels. They notoriously don't put any care or time into translating, it's just about getting it out as fast as possible and sadly that's what anyone coming on here to read BTS lyrics is going to read first. This particular lyric vid even got some of the English lyrics wrong lol. Even if people listened to the official audio and just read the lyrics elsewhere - there's doolset, bangtansubs, muish, colorcoded - so many reliable translators...Anyway, rant over. "Run Bulletproof" means "Run BTS" (BTS = Bangtan Sonyeondan = Bulletproof Boys). The last part of the song is actually "Run, Beautiful" and not "Bulletproof". They are saying that to ARMY. Namjoon once said that ARMY (아미), which already has a meaning on its own, can also be short for "Beautiful Voice". I like to think they're asking us to Run alongside them !

I think the bit where you asked who he’s addressing was to the haters, except this translation was really poor like you guessed so some of this was very jumbled. All their words about this album, anecdotes and interviews are really interesting, and just cements them as artists who care first and foremost about their music. I see this song as a trace back to the rough times, the beginnings when they had no money and worked ridiculously hard while watching other groups’ companies buying their way to success. But they’re saying we will keep running. Oh at the end RM says ‘run beautiful’ instead of bulletproof. That ties in with Yet To Come and the most beautiful moment in life. There’s a lot of doubles in this but I’m hoping there will be more performances so better lyrics to work from too!
