As a bassist, Fieldy's style turned me off to begin with when they first hit the scene. It sounded like he was playing bass on a distorted wet noodle to me. Over time though, it's really grown on me. He definitely defined his own sound.

@@beastmode8985 agree. It took me a minute to start diggin it. To me it just sounded like a click pad on a kick drum. I couldn't make out the notes and I've always been more into the death metal bass sound... Really punching through and down tuned with oomph! I like to feel the bass
