Agree, Japanese lyrics in metal just work...the musicality of MAYU's vocals with this band are enough for me. That flurry from TAMU at the end was EPIC. 🌸✨🌠

They are finally coming to the States! They're on the ticket for the Aftershock festival in Sacramento in October. We're hoping they'll announce some additional US tour dates, as well. Their fellow Japanese rockers Band-Maid are also playing Aftershock and are playing several other US dates in October, and it'll be awesome if Nemophila ends up touring with them!

@@tackle47 I wish they were coming to the Midwest. I'm from St. Louis. Just bought tickets to the Houston show, since that's the closest. They also have a Dallas date, but i think that's it for the South. Hopefully Nemo will tour closer!

Great reaction. You should try listening to their songs Dissension and Revive. They just released their first album recently. It is top notch. Best I have heard in a long while. They also do some amazing covers. You should check out more of them they are amazing.

yup, killer Talent's in the form of hot babes!😍if you want to take a breather (kinda lol) check out their song "Hypnosis" it's a slower song but really fucking good with deep chugging rhythms and cool Asian/Indian style singing and feel. 🤟

Also check out: Hanabie ("harajukucore" rising stars...check out "We Love Sweets" and enjoy massively subverted expectations!), Hagane (w/ guitar virtuoso Sakura Yoshida), Ark Royal (powermetal from the far north), Trident (3-piece hard rock), Doll$Boxx (technical prog/metal/funk mix), Fate Gear (steampunk metal!), Market Shop Store (highly technical pop/rock), Orochi (metalcore/death metal), Mada Mitakoto no Nai Sekai (anisong/speedmetal fusion), Gacharic Spin (hyperkinetic pop/rock/prog mash-up...same instrumental core as Doll$Boxx), Moth In Lilac (recently re-formed metalcore), Whiskey Dust (old-school hard rock..."LA sleaze" style), The SheGlapes (aggressive prog-metal)...and the list goes on. It's a niche scene, but it's an insanely good niche, with superb musicians coming out of the woodwork.

Check out Babymetal, Maximum the Hormone and High and Mighty Color just to name a few Japanese bands. If you want to explore metal from other countries, Steve Terreberry did 2 videos recently where he looked at a bunch of bands, check them out for ideas. I highly recommend Bloodywood, they’re from India and they have rap elements too so you should definitely like them. Alien Weaponry are awesome too.
