A bit wrong, his verse was submitted at the end of the year. His verse being submitted that late made it difficult to get time for all the editors and producers to work with it and get everything together for the video. The song itself was done for months, the background production took the longest. Recording the lyrics after the video is already recorded makes for an editor's worst nightmare.

I mean even the handful of lines that use the same reference are pretty different like they don't feel like repeats to me. Part of the reason this Cypher took so long is because CTC took a long long time to submit his verse. I know he holds himself to especially high standards with his music, and when he feels he hasn't met them he's done some drastic things in the past like deleting his stuff. He always has at least top 3 verses on these things tho so for me it's simply better late than never. It's funny he always ends up putting basically full songs on the Cyphers he really cooks.
