You’re spot on about the growl coming from the throat bro! There are videos of people reacting to this trying to explain how they think he’s doing it but it’s just one big breath and a tonne of practice! Kind of like he’s gargling air 👍. Not everyone can do it and it’s not painful at all and for the people who can do it, it’s easier and feels more natural to do than any other vocal technique or style.

Thank you! You're the only other person I've seen who also thinks that's Corey Taylor in the audience, like I do. I swear that looks exactly like him, if it isn't him, but I'm pretty sure that's him. I've seen dozens of reactions to this video at this point, and you're the ONLY ONE, dude, the only one who sees it and mentions it. There are still fresh unseen reactions left here on KZbin, so maybe someone else will, too, but so far it's just me and you.
