Something I can really appreciate with rappers/hip hop fans is how much they dig into the lyrics of a song (understandably so). Whenever I check out one of these types of reaction vids, I always enjoy seeing how the person reacts to the lyrics. There are some good ass lyrics hiding in Metal/rock land. On that note, I highly recommend you checking out Tool (I would probably start with the song Vicarious). You will find another very dedicated fan base coming to see your thoughts as well.

They did good things for me and i could fucking relate. Ya ever feel like being isolated in life but if you were a maggot you did feel less alone and realized there are way more angry or just different people out there in all shapes and sizes. Like in every metal head's tool belt there is at least 1 Slipknot song or whole fucking album that you carry with ya. And people wonder why i consider just heavy bands and music in general are the best that the music industry has given besides classics thats its own thing. haha if you wanted a song to say fuck the world to Slipknot was there for ya.

Awesome vid man! Been a metal head for 25+ years so I appreciate the open-mindedness towards our community 👍 there are a ton of genres and sub-genres when it comes to metal music, so I would suggest a taste from the following: *Edit - I included a couple Hardcore tracks below, although technically are not metal - 1. Dealer - "Crooked" (Hardcore) 2. Being as an ocean - "The hardest part is forgetting those you swore you would never forget" (Melodic Hardcore) 3. Killswitch Engage - "The end of heartache" (Metalcore) 4. Amon Amarth - "Cry of the Blackbirds" (Melodic/Viking death metal) 5. Death - "Crystal mountain" (Creators of the Death Metal genre) 6. Caladan Brood - "Wild autumn wind" (Epic black metal) 7. Make them suffer - "Neverbloom" (Symphonic deathcore) 8. Through the eyes of the dead - "Failure in the flesh" (Deathcore) 9. Disturbed - " Down with the sickness" (Nu metal) 10. Hammerfall - "Hearts on fire" (Power metal) *Best of luck with the channel and I hope u enjoy metal music for many more years to come 🤘

Another great reaction! You are right that the lyrics aren’t just bs. Corey Taylor is a lyrical genius. This is another fav song of mine! Honestly, I will say that about every slipknot song. Lol I can’t help it! Haha. I remember the line that hit me the first time I heard it was “reaching out for the hand of god, did you ever think you’d shake your own”. Or something close to that. As well as the one you called out “I was all that you wanted and more.......”. It is true that the more you listen, the easier it will be for you to hear ALL of the lyrics easily.
