Linda Perry is an icon of music and in the Song Writers Hall of Fame. She wrote a lot of hits for other women and created record companies........all while staying under the radar. One of the pillars of women in rock from the '90s and onward. We need more woman rock stars to rise up like they did in the '90s.

There are so many female rockers working today that I hope will get the recognition they deserve. Thundermother just finished touring across North America with the Scorpions, and Twin Temple got to tour two continents with Ghost recently and just finished touring with The Bridge City Sinners, and Rosalie Cunningham seems to have gotten some good critical recognition since breaking up Purson, and I think The Oath are well-known in a certain niche, but I don’t know if any of them have received popular recognition. Other favorites of mine are Jess and the Ancient Ones and Blood Ceremony, and I also sometimes listen to Wucan, Blues Pills, Honeymoon Disease, The Surfrajettes, Jane Lee Hooker, and The Babes, among others. I don’t know how many I should mention here.

I don’t know if that was her character’s name, but she was married to Sara Gilbert the actress who also started the show The Talk. Linda Perry had a short reality show (not many episodes) where she tried to help a band go from local success to a larger market. She writes a lot of songs but has also worked as a music producer. 😊

They only had this one studio album... The group disbanded in late 1994 during the recording of their second album. Perry has said that she had been unhappy with Bigger, Better, Faster, More![5] She has also explained that her sexuality had a part to play in her tensions with the group. Perry was an out lesbian, but band members Hillhouse and Richardson were less comfortable being as open about their sexuality in the early 1990s.

There is a completely unrelated band that was around a little while before these ladies with an unfortunately similar name. Concrete Blonde was not an all-female band, but the singer/ bassist was this Ultra Gothic brunette with amazing vocal power. They were a pretty daggone good rock band but I think the way their music covered such a wide spectrum that it kept some fans away. Hopefully you didn't dismiss my comment as soon as you read my tacky username because I would love to see you two react to Concrete Blonde. Some of their more notable songs are bloodletting the Vampire song, Joey, Caroline, and God is a bullet. I'm pretty new to your Channel and it didn't take me too many videos to hit the Subscribe button because you guys seem pretty in tune with your comment section. I'm pretty sure if you reacted to one of those songs, then it wouldn't be long until you wanted to react to another one. Start with bloodletting then let your curiosity of the title guide you to the next.

The vocalist, Linda Perry is one of the most in demand song writers out there, her songs are as close to a guaranteed hit as you can get, I believe I saw she only sells about 2-3 songs a year, some for sums approaching mid 6 figures, believe Clive Davis bought many songs for his artists, Whitney Houston did number of songs written by Linda. She also admitted that she is actually writes and hoards most of her songs, she thinks she has between 2-3 thousand songs she had written in her apartment, but she doesn’t want to share them with the world because they are hers. Her family is gonna get RICH, you know they are gonna auction all of them once she passes on.

How is it still so relevant today when all the support systems are created to support women and girls and the employment rate levels for the same jobs that women trialed men at in the 70's now have reversed to the opposite lopsided sex representation disparity? Listening to some sisterhood of woman ideological Feminist lady in a costume singing about a supposed "brotherhood of man" which has no organized lobby power or presence to compare to Feminism today seems stupid. As less young men are getting out of their parents house and going to college it is the sisterhood of woman and their boot liking allies that say how women's suffrage is still so relevant while relentlessly trolling young male flagging heterosexual sex confidence into further insecurity with Female super hero male butt kickers. If men/boys are now in arrested development and committing suicide how exactly is it still that current society still bills it as "women most effected", it seems like we can't take our lips off the asses of "empowered" women's movement long enough to spare a second on young men who are lost and depressed to the point of suicide. Well don't worry about it, we all knew men were disposable compared to women and kids anyways so who cares what they want or need, let them suffer alone with pro girl propaganda trolling them till they kill themselves. Like I can expect an "equality" or "equity" stance from a cheeky smug Feminist ideological artist bitch in a top hat.
