Hi. Con todo respeto, ¿cómo puedes puntuar una canción de rap, con solo leer los subtítulos? Cuando se traduce de un idioma a otro perdemos mucha información, por lo que es absolutamente necesario que un nativo explique el significado oculto y las referencias históricas detrás de las palabras y la canción explotará en tu mente. Seguro que más gente no se suscribe por qué solo tocáis la superficie y no la profundidad de las letras. İrónicamente en el rap lo que importa es el liricismo. Busquen el canal de DKDK y encontrarán los vídeos que explican frase por frase el significado de las letras en coreano. Mientras no lo hagan no entenderán el estilo y la mentalidad de estos hombres. 10:46 i think that’s a great observation to make but you all definitely have to listen to all of the solo work from each of them: Namjoon, Hope & Yoongi, they all have fundamentals in boombap, old-school hip-hop/breakbeats and sampling; j-hope may have started dancing yes and is a street dancer/b-boy break, locking, popping, house dancer, but with how much musicality it takes to be really good at them is easily translated into singing/rapping (it takes years of work ofc). Also! Namjoon’s singing voice is beautiful, he sings! and, so does Suga! I’d love to see you guys do full album reactions. 💜

I wish you would react to the DKDKTV Explained videos for both Ddaeng and Ugh. As rappers yourselves, knowing the meaning of the lyrics and the Korean nuances add so much more to the rap. They are lyricists. You can do one reaction with both these Explained videos. ARMY will be there.

Highly recommend the Ugh! Explanation video by DKDK TV. It would be really hard for a non Korean to understand all the references and wordplay in this song without an actual Korean to explain it. I always end up with so much more respect for BTS’ genius songwriting after watching these explanation videos, and Ugh! Has a deep meaning that would be a shame to miss.

I never heard rap before, but when I heard the Cyphers I fell in love with these guys. J-Hope learned rapping from the other two, they learned dancing from him. All three learned singing together. I'd give up on ranking BTS, they are the best in the world for a reason. As for tickets, it's a bloodbath, you'll be up against 60M fans.

Contextualise lyrics. Please start using this or these are only the most basic reactions. Its why I have not subscribed yet.
