He took that time off after he overdosed and said he had to relearn how to do everything including rapping. Listen to Beautiful, it’s the only song he wrote during rehab and explains how he almost gave up rap. Bad Guy aka Stan part 2 is better than Stan. It’s a masterpiece and was voted best verse of the decade. Still get chills when that verse hits.

beautiful is one of his best songs, and stan is better than bad guy, i liked bad guy, the storytelling and representation of the people is good and the fourth verse was murdered, but stan tells a story in the form of a song while bad guy is a story about the kid brother of stan who wants to kill eminem

Em is a lyrical genius!!! He is in the Guinness Book for a reason!! I am a die hard metal head, but I have a lot of respect for the rap genre and Eminem is mind blowing!!! I absolutely love watching reactions to this particular song. Everybody I have listen to it all have the same jaw dropping reaction when it gets to the final portion of the song! Love it!!!

Eminem will forever be my favorite rapper. I’ve listened to him since I was 9 when Slim Shady LP came out and Forgot about Dre! The best lyricist around, he’s had such a phenomenal discography all the way thru with just a few minor lapses. The way he channels so much emotion, honesty mixed with anger and laughter. It’s truly amazing, bring more Eminem on this channel!

I'd love if you reacted to 40 Stories by Alluvial. The band is really special; the album was put together by the guitar player who sings in the video. He wrote all the lyrics, played all the guitar, and sings on some songs, and the dude has been through hell; he was in Iraq in the army, battled addiction, and come out the other side of it, and a lot of the songs deal with his experience. Being from Detroit like Eminem, you should check out Eminem's song "Infinite". This song came out on an album in 1996, 3 years before he started working with Dre. Eminem's sound was so different at this time than the style you know of his. And us people from Detroit who know this song will easily put this in his top 5 songs of all time.

Don't know if you guys have or not , But you should do Run-DMC / Aerosmith Walk this way , video , Thats the song/ mtv video that changed everthing , made rap cool with rockers , befor that I never gave rap a chance , ( Rap thats just talking to a beat) Boy was I wrong! After coming home from school and throwing mtv on like always , I hear walk this way from aerosmith come on I run infront of tv for a video that opened my eyes and ear to a whole new genre. I have loved Eminem since i 1st heard him. I never liked rap until him because he isnt a mumble rapper! And every time i watch a different rapper or musician talk about him and you all say the same thing. "OMG hes at a whole notha level"!!! And he is i have not heard anyone that can even come close! Not that there isnt of plenty of other talanted rappers out there ,but all of them can only hope ot get close to Eminem's level!
