Gojira's one of those bands that talks a lot about the environment, I think this song's about global warming where sea levels would rise and there'd be water all over and instead of birds or planes there would be whales "flying" all above us.

Mario, the drummer of the band, is widely appreciated amongst metal fans, as being one of the most incredible performers in the scene, and an absolute clockwork powerhouse drummer. He plays and creates with such an evident passion, that he has won over even metalheads who don't necessarily dig that particular subgenre of metal. He gets love from those that know...you know?

It's a concept album. I believe it's about the whales migrating to a new planet, finding a new home, a rebirth. Gojira have always talked/wrote about Environmental issues. Their new song "Amazonia" off their upcoming album is another good example of this. This album is a classic. It really should be listened to by anyone with an interest in rock music to hear how heavy metal music evolved and transformed into sounds that could not have ever been thought of when Black Sabbath laid down those initial riffs, 35 plus years ago prior to this release.
