Korn's lead singer put together the soundtrack for the movie the Queen of the Damned. He didn't sing on the album, but he got a few other metal singers to fill in for the songs he helped write. You should check out "Slept so Long" (Jay Gordon of Orgy), "Not Meant for me" (Wayne Static), "Forsaken" (David Draiman), "System" (Chester Bennington), or "Redeemer" (Marilyn Manson). Waaaaaaaaay back in the day when they came through Chicago while touring for this album I managed to get the wig that Johnaton Davis was wearing when he walked on stage. That was cool enough for 17 year old me but then I go to show my friend on the ride home and discover at least an eigths worth of weed in it. Needless to say it was a good night.

Saw Korn open for Metallica a few times back in the day when Korn first came out and I’ve never seen an opener get the fans so worked up. There were fights breaking out all over the arena and there were people fighting for fun. They’d be slugging it out, and stop, throw their hands in the air cheering and high five each other! When Korn Was born into the Epic music Genre in 93'. I was in 9th grade. Tool came out in 92' then here comes Korn. Music was progressing so much. I still have my Jnco Jeans from back then 😉 I have a very wide range of Genres I love. All thanks to the ever growing bands. Who have graced us with their music over the years. (You both were talking about children's nursery rhymes. I have the Brother's Grimm True Nursery Rhymes book. All of them was actually horrific in nature. They changed it up to be more child friendly. I can say something about nursery rhymes. The most popular are the ones from the XIX century. The lyrics may seam grim, because they are like that. Back in the day, when information wasnt on the TV and not everybody had an acces to newspapers, news was passed mouth to mouth. Children, whom heard those gossips may not understad them, but felt, by the emotional charge, that theire were important and made their own wersions. Many events has theire own equivalent in nursery rhymes, even in more recent events. There was one about Mansons family murders, one about Kenedy's death and many more. PS. Also like Grimm's Fairy Tales not the light versions but the real versions Were Meant to scare children from not doing things like going into the forest alone and other things I can't remember maybe not trusting old women with candy trying to lower them.
