Dave has a falling out with his band mates. ROFLMAO. How many???? Dave is Megadeth. IF you want more you need to watch THE NEW Megadeth song NIGHT STALKERS and it shows how VIC the Megadeth's Mascot came to be. GREAT VIDEO. I cant wait till Sept for the new album.

Glad this one came out. Hearing 4 or 5 solos each song is normal for them, and they have some catchy groove in their rhythyms. The solos sound like Bach on a roller coaster, like they did on Good Mourning/Black Friday, and The Conjuring. Now he seems to be in a combo of old and current stuff, which is great. Imagine being around 60 and this is your new song ↑↑

Old-school Megadeth fan here. They're my favorite band of all time, and this shows that they still have it. It's that classic mix of heavy, precise, well-written thrash guitar and perfect synergy and syncopation that the band is known for. I've played Megadeth for friends who love classical music and have never heard them before, and they are always floored at how technically masterful their music is. I've seen them live numerous times, and they are the real deal -- they sound just like the albums (Dave's vocal range is a little lower than it was when he was younger, but that's just aging). And Dave is 62!! I love watching you guys react to them. I'm happy that you get what makes them so special. I'm jealous that you get to experience them for the first time! Have you ever heard The Skull Beneath the Skin? It's insane. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

My husband and I have been MegaFans since the Legendary RUST IN PEACE and I think this new album Sick Dieing and the Dead is right up ther with it in so many ways classic Dave .. the stomping your soul music and the added perfectly background voices. That you can t help but smile and Bang you head when certain part hit hard. And basically remind you why you have Loved MEGADETH 😍 since the first time heard first song .. mission to Mars is musical genius 🙌

My day one was seeing Dave when he played with Metallica back in the early 80's....Without him being there then there would be no metallica today as we know them. I've followed the band since then and they have stayed true to the music they create consistantly and this is what old school Mega fans want and expect. And then after 35 years Dave still gives us this gold....LEGEND! BTW this 3 chapter release explains how that soldier becomes Vic Rattlehead, the bands mascot....

Love Megadeth. Been a fan since 1987 when I was 12. This is killer stuff. Drummer Gar Samuelson (1st 2 albums) & guitarist Chris Poland (1st 2 albums) were fired basically because of drugs; drummer Chuck Behler (3rd album) was replaced by his drum technician Nick Menza because of drugs; guitarist Jeff Young (3rd album) was fired because Dave accused him of sleeping with his gf; Dave offered Dimebag of Pantera the guitarist gig but he wouldn't unless his brother Vinnie Paul of Pantera could join too, but Dave had already hired Menza. Marty Friedman of Cacophony joined on guitar. That was the classic Megadeth lineup -- Mustaine, Dave Ellefson (bass), Friedman on guitar, Menza on drums -- 1990-1997. Nick Menza left because of him having a tumor and was replaced by Jimmy DeGrasso for 2 albums. Then Friedman left because of musical differences and was replaced by Al Pitrelli for 1 album. Megadeth disbanded because Dave of Dave's arm injury. Then he got better and was going to release a solo album (The System Has Failed) and had session bassist and drummer and original guitarist Chris Poland . Due to a contract issue, Dave put it out as the 10th Megadeth album. David Ellefson wasn't fired but didn't return because of money issues. Glen Drover on guitar for the 11th album United Abominations and left because of family. His brother Shawn Drover played drums on albums 11-14. James LoMenzo played bass on albums 11-12 and was replaced by original bassist Dave Ellefson who had returned for albums 13-15 and was fired because of sexual misconduct. Guitarist Chris Broderick played on albums 12-14, then left to pursue other musical interests. Dystopia is the 15th album and had Chris Adler of Lamb Of God on drums and Kiko Loureiro of Angra on guitar. The new album, their 16th album is The Sick, The Dying... And The Dead! Besides Dave, is Kiko Loureiro on guitar, Steve Di Giorgio (Testament, Death, Iced Earth, Sebastian Bach) on bass (just on the album), and Dirk Verbeuren of Soilwork on drums. James LoMenzo (White Lion, Pride & Glory, Black Label Society, David Lee Roth, Sweet Lynch, Rondinelli) is the official new bassist though.

Pirelli was mainly hired for making the album because he was primarily a well sought after studio guitarist at the time and then he ended up touring for a year but his priority was still TSO. Fan since 1988 and looking forward to the new album in early September!!! I like this song even if some the lyrics are similar to another Megadeth song Good Morning… Black Friday. Dave is Dave Mustaine and it’s his band but there have be legitimate issues with some band members eg stealing/pawning equipment for drugs, hitting on Dave’s wife, not staying sober, etc and he’s not the easiest person to get along with either. But he does know music and his talent can’t be disputed. At least Megadeth has stayed a thrash metal band and not sold out to be a pop rock band…

Man it's actually way bad way more badass than you even know because this for the first time I believe Dave Mustaine and Megadeth have absolutely unequivocally blown Metallica out of the water. Nobody can deny it they did it Metallica sounded a little bit old next to Megadeth now. This is a historic release. I'm speechless. This is coming from a Metallica Super Fan since 1987. So it carries a lot of weight. Dave has done it. Metallica's new song is good don't get me wrong it is good but this is next level. And he deserves it too he deserves it

Dave Mustain and Dave Dave Ellefson started Megadeth back in 83/84. At the Beginning stages of So Far So Goo So What, the Bands third Album Dave Mustain was in the beginning stages of Bankruptcy and He did not want to luquidate Megedeth. So he sold Over 51 percent of the company to Dave Ellefson, thus saving the company and making Ellefson the major share holder. About 5 years later he bought about 50 percent of that back. Ellefson considered that a Hostal Take Over. After 5 years of lawsuits and litigation Ellefson sold most of the remaining company over to Mustain and thus Quiting the Band and being absent those years. Ellefson invested well and Mustain was looking to make amends. With the the very large investment that Ellefson built they once again collaborated and made the Company into a major Independent 2 man Empire. Unfortunately Dave Ellefson did some pornagraphic activity online with a younger legal woman while still married. This did not set good with Mustain concerning they, [ Mustain and Ellefson ] are Born Again Christians. After Heavy Contaplaiting He and the Band decided it would be best if Ellefson resigned. And yes, Ellefson still holds a good portion of the company. To be continued. ....

Dave hasn't fallen out with anyone... Ellefson did some stuff in his private time with a fan of the band that was inappropriate so they've split off from one another over that.. Ellefson frankly did something that was stupid and it hurt the bands image and reputation.. It ended up delaying the album another year after they had to create space from that incident and the new music.. They were getting ready to release and you don't really want that with a new album after 6 years of waiting for fans.. You don't want all the questions you get from press and interviewers ect to be about that and why they are still there and is that right and all that.. So it was a mutual parting of ways.. The business side of the relationship is over.. They are still on good terms personally. We have the bassist from Testament filling in on the songs.. But James LoMenzo is now the permanent bassist for the band.. He played bass with them for 4 years and 2 albums United Abominations and Endgame.. Fans like James he's good for the band and if Ellefson is no longer going to be there he's the guy most of us wanted to take the spot so we're happy... He also brings a lot live that Ellefson wasn't in regards to energy and backing vocals.. Chris Adler did the drumming on the previous album that wasn't really a full time job or anything.. It was a session thing but he ended up playing for them live as well for about 8 months or so.. Then they looked for a actual member there.. In steps Dirk.. He's been the drummer ever since.. So he has been there 6 years now.. Kiko the other lead guitarist has been there for 7 years and James has now been back with them for a year.. Bumping him to 5 years with the band now.. So just to clear that up.. There is no falling out.. Theyve mutually agreed its best to go seperate ways.. Megadeth can't deal with his stuff as well and it's not fair to expect the band to carry his mistake as well.. But it also needs to be made clear that although what Ellefson did was stupid and it has cost him his stop on the album and with the band.. The fans aren't mad at him or anything.. We all hope the best for him in what he does next. He's doing a tour with some past Megadeth members playing the albums they featured on which is neat I'm sure people will get a kick out of that.

If anything, I think their 2016 album, Dystopia, is their finest work yet, just slightly above Rust in Peace. Their next album, The Sick...The Dying...And the Dead! will be coming out this September, and as you can tell, it's gonna be brutal as fuck. They even collaborated with Ice-T on one of the songs!
