@@adamFIVE88 Metal is quite unique in this aspect that it has theatrics. (also one reason why and how metal and opera fans are essentially the same) Dancers and fancy suits alone arent theatrics. So I get why non metal fans wont get it from the start. And they are rappers apparently. Rap or Hip Hop or whatever is full with fake beef and "im a tough guy" dudes. But that isnt theatrics, it is supposedly they themselves

Rammstein always have awesome videos, but their live shows are even beyond these. Here are some suggestions: "Sonne" (Live Rock im Park / Rammstein Official) --> Hot as the name giving sun (Sonne = Sun) "Ich tu Dir weh" (Hurricane Festival / Rammstein Official) --> Great singing and insane stage action towards the end) "Mein Teil" (Live Hurricane Festival 2013) --> Read the story behind the song (a real case of cannibalism!) first. "Willst Du das Bett in Flammen Sehn" (Paris Version) --> Pyro Fashion, power, everything that Rammstein stands for ---> "Benzin" (Madison Square Garden) --> Benzin = Gasoline --> burns well. And maybe also a man? A "fan" getting on stage? There are of course a lot more insane live videos of them: "Links 2,3,4", Engel, "Mann gegen Mann", "Mutter", "Feuer Frei", "Ich will", ... Have fun and rock on! Paris is more a concert movie with post production (lightnings, slow motions) and released as Directors Cut“.

Hollywood got it really good with the pronunciation. "Feuer Frei" is the "Fire" command in the German military. It literally means "fire free" or "fire freely", but the closest equivalent in English would be "fire at will" or "open fire". The Shows are always great. In every song something burns. Sometimes the microphones, sometimes the keyboard, sometimes Till the singer himself. They also have flamethrowers and other cool stuff. Try out the Song Rammstein! This is a really great one!

Yeah. I still remember "Feuer Frei" at the 2007 Aerodrome Festival. Because of winds they put the loudspeakers on fire and someone from the stage crew climbed up with a fire extinguisher and literally had to fight the flames during their performance. That was crazy to watch!

if you get tickets to get to Front row, you get a wristband, with the text "I survived first Row with Rammstein", unfortunely I haven't gotten one, eventhough but one of my Friends have. I've seen them 3 times, two times outdoors & one time indoor, and yes its getting hot, I cannot imagine how the Band members are having. I know Till is a licensed Pyrotechnician (I think the other bandmembers are aswell but not 100 % certain). Besides what some of the others are sugggesting, You need to watch Rammstein - Du Hast live from Paris Rammstein - Engel live from Madision Square Garden.

Till has a full licence, the other band members merely have training. So from a legal perspective, since Till has a licence, he acts as an "instructor" for the other band members, therefore a full blown licence for all of them would be superfluous. They still have the same degree of training, though.

I saw Rammstein live in 2012 @ Denver Coliseum. The Pyrotechnics were so hot my daughter had a mixture she still had her eyebrows. She went to the bathroom right before they were playing Feuer Frei (Fire Freely). When she came back, turning the corner to get back up. The cannons went off! BANG! BANG! She dropped to the ground like she was just shot. And yes! Rammstein is fucking awesome live!

Yoo great reaction! This was really entertaining and fun to watch. Flake, the keyboardist, always gets rekt in one way or another by the singer (Till) - shot at with giant flamethrowers, doused in fireworks, dragged around on a leash and worse. All in good fun of course ;) Some other absolutely bomb live performances by Rammstein would be 'Mein Teil' live from Hurricane Festival 2013 - this song has a pretty interesting real life inspiration as well. Another is 'Ich Tu Dir Weh' live from Madison Square Garden which is also super high energy and really show's off Till's vocal range. Love this video!

I've been to one of ther live shows in São Paulo 2010. I was like 30ft off the stage, and I STILL FELT THE HEAT from the fires.... They make insane shows, and no video translates the feeling of being there. You should as well watch their original official videos, they are pieces of art... Personally I would stick to Rosenrot, Deutschland, Mein Teil, Benzin, and Links 2-3-4. Go for the lyrics, as well.... They are not shallow at all.

I've been lucky enough to see Rammstein live twice (front row both times!) and to this day they remain the best live shows I've ever seen. If you ever get the chance, definitely go, they're amazing. As for the mic stand, Till does that every show. At the first one I went to, I was worried because he didn't stop until his forehead was bleeding, then I learned that was intentional. He must bleed at least once every show 😂

Fire Frie by Rammstein was in the beginning of the original "XXX" with Vin Deisel. One of my buddies got the opportunity to see Rammstein live while visiting his cousin many years ago in Germany (when "Rosenrot" was new on the market) and he told me that there were so many pyrotechnics going off that you could have a weenie roast in there. He also got to meet the band and got them to sign his vinyl copy of "Live Aus Berlin" which he got framed (lucky bastard, lol).

FUNFACT: the lead singer till lindemann was in his youth a competitive swimmer and was actually training to one day swim at the olympics but then rammstein happened so...hell yeah! But even now he tends to keep fit. And the whole, the keyboarder aka flake and till sort of bullying him on stage is actually a running gag XD the most fun part is the playful fights and the friendship between the members thaz fascinates people. TILL is also a trained pyro technician...hence..the shows pyros.

The singer, Till Lindeman, was a Olympic level swimmer but he got an injury before the games. He also is a licensed pyrotechnician. Oh, and the keyboard player, Flake, and Till, they never really fight. It's part of the show. Every tour we wait to see what Flake has to go through this time lolol
