There is a documentary for this album that should be coming to theaters soon. RM is learning the Sax in the military he is in the band.

RM recently won 4 awards (2 gold + 2 bronze) for Lost (another song on his album) at CICLOP in Berlin, a global award festival for film.

RM listens to and is inspired by all kinds of music. Tae is definitely into jazz, and he actually loved “Come Back to Me” so much after hearing Joon sing the untitled/unfinished version of it at SUGA’s last Seoul concert of his D-Day tour, he called Joon and asked him to send him the song…then he told Jimin it’s the kind of song he aspires to write. (Are You Sure?! Behind video.)

So excited. This is one of my donation recommendations. Kind of obsessed with this song and Nuts on this album. The documentary comes out in theaters in December. The guys from balming tiger were heavily involved in this. Fun fact: RM plays the saxophone in the military band.

@@wongpauline22 confession: i am a huge RM fan, but little Sims is my favorite part of the song.

This was such an amazing song and you guys had an amazing reaction I loved it

Great reaction. RM is amazing, truly. This song is gold. I still think you underestimate RM and BTS. RM’s music interests are very vast… he’s often posting song recs on instagram. * yes, he has a documentary for this that was just shown at the Busan Film Festival, in theaters in December.

I listened to 'Ful Stop,' which sounds a bit like a mantra, and yes, it's a great example that emphasizes the hypnotic rhythmic aspect of Domodashi. It's crazy bc I like Radiohead but I didn't know the song. @TheAfterPartyReacts I appreciate reactors who can teach us more about music; very interesting. I think RM is among the best rappers/artists globally. Besides being a true artist, he has a deep knowledge of music, as well as literature, and he regularly shares music of all genres and from all over the world (though less now since he's doing military service). He also plays the saxophone. I really believe BTS will continue to rise because having so much pure talent in one group and working so well together like they do is unique.

Let the mv finish, the ending changes the outcome of the confusing chaos of the night's happenings - theres the safety of what's known, theres the unsettling thrill of another place, what's it to be? Also, a full album reaction would be great, but let the tracks play out fully and transition into the next. Its a brilliant album, you'll love it.

Yes V is into Jazz and yes alto saxophone player and RM also plays saxophone and is playing it in a military band.

There is a documentary on the making of the album that will be released worldwide in theaters in December. Recently it was shown at the Busan International Film Festival to a sold out show.
@jenniferrassart3054Ай бұрын
I think you should watch the documentary he just released about the 8 months previous to his military enlistment. It was the same period he was recording this album. It was selected for the International Film Festival in Busan (South Korea). It just premiered a couple of days ago and is highly spoken about. The documentary is coming into the theathers all over the world starting December (exact dates and locations are not known yet)...

Thank you so much for giving all the inspirations....just checked them out and I'm discovering these new sounds! RM/BTS are really introducing many to these other world and we didn't realize we're missing a lot so....kudos on directing us there!

One of your better reactions but so confused why reactors turn mvs off before the end. I think I know. Lyrical meanings are not being engaged. K Pop (and yes I am aware this is not Idol music) tends to integrate the visual with the auditory. Most such as Domodachi tell a story. By not playing the last few seconds you missed a lot of what RM was communicating by choosing this track for a video. Personally and don't be offended I think if Alfie was controlling things you wouldn't have stopped the video and the end meaning would have done a 180.

RM is actually learning how to play the sax in the military. He joined the military marching band. V used to play the sax and the trumpet when he was younger. I don't think he has much practice anymore though...
@alifc1082Ай бұрын
Are you forgetting V's album, his performances with the band and him playing the saxophone??
@eileencritchley4630Ай бұрын
V played his sax after doing his Tiny Desk concert there's the band practice and at the end it goes black then pops back with V jamming with the band on his Saxophone so yes he's still plays saxophone he took it back up again.
@jenniferrassart3054Ай бұрын
It's not because you can play a couple of tunes that you're an active player... RM also plays the piano/keyboard, JK and Jimin the guitar, Jin the piano, but none of them are really active at playing. I must say, that RM is good at it (I heard him play once during a live), so he probably had some lessons when he was younger and he's just out of practice. The other 3 (JK, Jin and Jimin) are probably self-thought. About Jin, I heard he learned to play the piano to be able to play during his song Epiphany. I don't know if it's true. I played the flute for a year at school. I never played since. I can probably still play a tune. But I would never call myself a flute player...
@jenniferrassart3054Ай бұрын
And yes V probably had lessons too. Because I thought he said he played the sax for 6 years. But it's not like he's in a band and is practicing every week...

Some other inspirations of Namjoon are Nas and Pharrell he really looks up to them both, in terms of rapping & producing, RM has listed to so much music, that's all he did growing up rapping & then becoming a trainee (same with Suga), but he actually had a sit-down conversation with Pharrell in a Rolling Stones interview I believe where they both talked more in-depth and Pharrell even gave BTS their flowers while they spoke on producing, cadences & changing you're voice/tone to fit a song, or even performing in front of thousands of people, it's an incredibly insightful interview I think you'd both love. Also, when I saw Little Simz being featured on the album I freaked out, I love her, and she is incredible at what she does, I just knew they would fit so well together, you both should definitely go ahead and listen to Right Place, Wrong Person one of my most replayed albums this year hands down, no skips.

The singers remind me when my best friend went on mission to South Sudan and the ladies singing outside church as they'd not finished rebuilding it so couldn't yet start meeting in it once again. If you don't know South Sudan has been in civil war.
