I went to the concert in Brisbane, and had such a good time. The Offspring were great, but Sum41 had an entire vibe and energy that was way better. This was before I got deep into Sum41 too. Before the concert I listened to a couple songs every once in a while to get myself familiar with them, but the concert definitely made me a fan.

It's not my favorite song, but no other song/MV makes me think of my group of friends more than this. Massive blast of nostalgia. I wonder what songs 10s kids and 20s kids will feel the same way about.

I was so sick of all the pop punk and 2nd/3rd wave grunge bands. I was just getting into the Beasties and Kid Rock, and this song was a perfect blend of some cool stuff. The shout out to Maiden and Priest clinched it for this old school Canadian metalhead. Saw them live once and they killed it. They played some 80s Metallica in their set. Loved this trip down memory lane with you guys! Since y'all got me feeling nostalgic, I'm recommending my favorite band of the 90s and 00s: Everclear. They always toed the line between fun and emotional, with a unique ability to capture deep feelings without crashing into emo territory (mostly because emo wasn't a thing at the time). They had a few "meh" albums in the late 2000s but bounced back hard with their 2015 album "Black is the New Black." Recommended songs, starting with my personal favorite and working my way down (with official videos): When it All Goes Wrong Again, AM Radio, You Make Me Feel Like A Whore, Hater, Santa Monica. Songs with no music video: Fire Maple Song, Unemployed Boyfriend, Short Blond Hair, The Man who Broke his Own Heart.
