This song first premiered in his home of Kazakhstan, which was chosen to host the International Interreligious Conference in 2022. The organizers asked Dimash to prepare something to present to the attendees. FYI - Pope Francis was so moved by this performance, he asked to meet Dimash and presented him with a special Vatican medal of honor.

Thanks for reacting to Dimash’s masterpiece. Think about this… Dimash was 26 years old when he started composing Story of One Sky. Similar to a painter, it started with a blank canvas. Nothing. He is music in human form and his voice is the most phenomenal instrument in the world. Add his training, hard work, humanity, morals, commitment to peace and this is the result . There is no question that he has a profound purpose and we are blessed to witness him. I’m a 66 year old gma in Ohio. He is the most impressive artist and human, during my lifetime. This whole process took 3 years in the making. Dimash wrote the story, composed the music, wrote the screenplay & produced the video. Dimash is not signed to any label & does it all himself. He has his own production company & all of his mv's are created by him. To really understand the story here, you need to watch more than once. It's heart-wrenching when you get it. He sang this live for the first time in his Almaty concert in 2022 & I would recommend reacting to that too. It is just incredible. Thank you so much 😊❤

16:47 Dimash doesn't stop there. His highest note he hit in a live concert at an outside venue in front of 155000 people was a D8, and that was an exceptional one, but whistle notes in the 7th octave he throws around quite casually. We've even seen him do it when just fooling around backstage.

Yes, it's all him. And no, no filter😊. And yes, he's Muslim. Requiem is the mass for the dead in the Catholic Church Thank you for your great and empathetic reaction to this masterpiece. In The Story Of One Sky he composed and sang the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In composing, in singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. During his concerts he always tells the audience he loves all people in every country. He visited so many different counties with his concerts and he realized that there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Om", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches. Este cortometraje Dimash lo empezó a escribir en el año 2019 le llevo tres años. Esta obra de Paz es totalmente idea de Diamsh. Del artista que mencionas no lo conozco. Dimash tiene una fuerte personalidad y esta canción la presento en el Séptimo encuentro interreligioso y de Costumbres y la canto frente a todas las autoridades religiosas del mundo ( entre ellos el PAPA) en Qazajistan su pais. Lo presento en el festival de Londres de cortometraje , en La India y en todos sus conciertos.

Just to let you know, Dimash doesn’t speak 12 languages. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, is pretty good in English and has some phrases in Chinese. He has sung songs in over 12 languages. When he has a concert in another country, he usually learns a song in that country’s language. He is so considerate and respectful. He is very educated, has several music degrees, plays a few instruments, constantly trying to improve himself. Thank you from U.K.
