Lateralus is the only song that contains the Fibonacci Sequence. They have an album of the same name but, only the song contains this sequence of numbers. Also, Maynard stays in the back. You can spot him occasionally but, he's not up front and center. There are a few reasons why from what I heard. I've heard he has serious stage fright. I've heard that he prefers to be in the back so that the rest of the band is highlighted rather than everyone just looking at him in front. That way he acts as another instrument instead of the main focus. Who knows? He's been doing this though for a long time now.

I was lucky enough to see them in St. Louis before the new album dropped. Kinda like a "pre warm up" show for Fear Inoculum drop. This song was played, but it was in the middle of the show along with Invincible. I personally love when bands play shows without promoting albums... That way you get a Little of everything. This song was absolutely jaw dropping in concert, first music in 13 years. The light show and effects are always superb with Tool's shows as well. Y'all are amazing reactors, love to hear others love Maynard's voice as well. He's by far my favorite male vocalist.

Nice job men, welcome to what us tool fans call a lifestyle. Maynard has issues with being upfront and he also doesnt want to hog the spotlight. He is actually a great bandmate as he wants the band to get the credit they deserve as they do the music. He learned from the early days that the band wasn't just him and as all great men do he understood it was called a band for a reason and he took a step back. I respect the hell out of him for that....

Small anecdote.. Adam Jones of Tool and Tom Morello of RATM were growing up in Park Ridge IL back in the early 80's and were in a band together called Electric Sheep. They eventually split up when Adam decided he didn't want to play Bass any longer and left the band eventually going to LA and forming Tool as lead guitarist. Tom Morello arrived in LA a year or two later and met Zack and started Rage. Also, Paul D' Amour who was the bassist for Tool on Opiate and Undertow ended up leaving Tool, because he wanted to be a Lead Guitarist..

Descending is generally the second last song of the main set, followed by 46 & 2, on the FI tour. The setlist, and encores, on this tour is a Tool fan’s wet dream. They have started swapping Descending with 7empest. As much as I freaken love 7empest, Descending is one of my most very favourite songs of all time. You need to immerse yourself in the studio version, instead of live boots from phones. The Danny Carey Invincible drum cam is the closest we’ve got to an official Tool live video. Love your vibe and enthusiasm, new sub here. 👍🏻

been on this tour they opened with enema, wich was an awesome way to liquefy the crowd instantly. Fantastic reaction guys! It really shows that you enjoyed that thoroughly and that it blew your minds! And rightfully so! This has quickly became my favorite track from the Fear Inuculum album and one of my top all time favorites in the history of the universe. You still owe it to yourselves to listen to the studio version with headphones on and in silence.. take it all in, not to be a Fart head but you know that experience will be different than talking over it while reacting, this song gives me goosebumps every time, every time I hear that cleansing gong I f.. ing climax. Eargasm? This mofo is the bbc gangbang of eargasms ;) Yes, you owe it to yourselves so much to attend a live concert, it is unbelievable, I can't describe how it feels you just have to attend at least one time. I went for the first and only time so far (hopefully not the last) last June, I traveled from Isreal to Amsterdam for it with a friend and with my girlfriend, after refreshing the life of me on ticketmaster to get tickets and was so hiped I got them! It sold out in literally 2 minutes! Best trip and best live show I've ever experienced in my 39 years alive, this f.. Ing band man! What a time to be alive! Again guys, great reaction! Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of you, subbed liked and here we are at the comments section. Try some System Of a Down maybe? Chop Suey, B.Y.O.B, Toxicity, Aeriels, Lonely day, Lost in Hollywood - are all bangers, and they have more, you'll digg them gurenteed, counting on others to recommend more Tool songs. Cheers guys, stay healthy! P. S I believe they used the Fibonacci sequence thing only for the 1 song (Lateralus) and no others so far, please anyone correct me if I'm wrong here.
