It's short inaugural speech, but not exactly concise. He merely ratted on about the problems that we already know about. I wish he had given at least an overview of WHAT HE WILL DO ABOUT IT. Also, I haven't heard Mr. Duterte tackling economic policies in his speech, just that they will all come to light in the long run. Perhaps my confidence in him would have risen at all if he had balanced out the economic platform alongside with his political/anti-crime one. But nope, purely anti-crime related.

After ko mapanood ang inaugural speech ng bagong Pangulong BBM, bumalik at hinanap ko 'to para panoorin at mapakinggan ulit. Walang tulak kabigin na isa ka sa napaka galing at hinahangaang pangulo pati ibang lahi saludo sau tatay digong. Sobrang salamat sa 6 na taong panunungkulan mo bilang pangulo namin. Ngayon sobrang lungkot dahil hindi ka na namin mapipigilan at bababa ka na. Magiging masaya ka na dahil makakaiwas ka na sa pinapasang problema sa iyong balikat at makakapag pahinga na rin ganun pa man ikalulungkot namin ang iyong pag-alis. Though Manny Pacquiao indeed contributed a lot in bringing the pride of our country in the sports world as well as pay huge taxes to both the US and Philippine "then corrupt" Government. But despite that, he also helps the poor like donating huge sum to some organization and his neighborhood in Saranggani/Gen. San. just to cite an example. He's a person from a very poor family so he gave back whatever blessings and help he can to those who come or approach him and that's why Pres.
