I am 77 years old in July 2024. My late father who in his teenage years lived in a not well-known town in Ilocos Sur told a story about a lone Japanese guy who run a tailoring shop in that town. When Japan occupied the Philippines in world war 2 that guy turned out to be a Japanese military officer. I feel some analogy between that story with the Bamban POGO being in a not well-known town..
