All these protest actions are a waste of time. I myself used to go to protest rallies until a photo was published on a leading newspaper: the parents of a 16 year old EJK victim were in Malacanang with the EJK architect, their right hands in a fist extended outward towards the camera. So I said: bakit ako magmamalasakit sa mga taong walang malasakit sa sarili nila? And I was proven right when no one protested when the price of tomato skyrocketed to 700 pesos per kilo from just 150 pesos within the first few months of the president's inauguration who promised in his campaign to lower the price of rice to 20 pesos from 35 pesos when he took office. And just read the comments of the great unwashed, all defending and fighting for the politicians whom they elected rather than demanding accountability from these politicians. No amount of protest action will save a nation of slaves.
