Great on the dirt but absolute shite on the road! I notice you are constantly checking to make sure you've turned off your indicators I was exactly the same on mine! I had the silver and white version but only kept it 6months due to it being so bad, you may all think he's driving a bit mad but its your best chance of surviving a ride on the road on a quad.

start of with a smaller cc like 250 go for a apache or quadzilla they ain't that bad topspeed is 80ish mph. fire and theft my insurance was £260 for me with no claims put a data tag plus gold lock and say it locked you in your bricked garage it be a bit cheaper i,am 26. so if you are like 17 you looking a bit more like £700ish hope it helps :)

i bought the quad road legal, new road legal u can get them for around £8000, mine was 2 years old when i got it and i payed £4000, if u buy a off road one then its about £1000 to get it road legal, but off road quads are normally fucked

the one i have i paid £2900 6 year ago but its gone down in price now you can pick one up for £1600 put in ebay Apache RLX 250 they are twist throttle and quite quick. some one got one on a bid 3 days left at £720 i will go up but try your luck :)

you can make it street legal in USA, would need to meet height and noise requirements, aswell as have mirrors, headlights, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, street tires, registration and a license plate

@chamb0 No!!! The only places we can ride quads here in Quebec are on private land, MX tracks and provincial quad trails where the speed limit is 50 km/h. I ride my raptor on public roads sometimes but I got pulled over by the cops last week. At the beginning the a**hole wanted to tow my quad but finally he gave me a 300$ ticket for having no left side mirror, no speedometer and a modded exhaust. Better than getting the quad towed but still really annoying...

his is an 08, unless those aren't the original plastics. the stock regular edition raptors in 07 came in all blue. 08 came in blue and black. 09 came in blue and black but had a speedometer on the dash. so since he has the vapor speedometer on his, i don't think it's an 09+ or 07-

@Ls7colorado no, your roads are just fucking massive, you would find it difficult to drive here, but these aren't the worst roads in Europe by a long way. Have a quick look in Eastern Europe and Asia then you'll see some proper 'horrible' roads..

If its pre 1999 you can drive it on a bike license, the only reason you have to have a car license is because it has the chassis layout of a car, but they have engine arrangement of a bike.

In the UK to make quad road legal you need to have a license plate, insurance which most quads have and wind mirror

sure it only does 85, but it gets there in 3-4.....maybe 5 seconds..your 50cc gpr would take 10+ sec hit hit 75.
