Thank god these coasters are getting recognition, I have been admiring the Intamin Wing-Rider for years and knew I'd never ride one, but thankfully they've been recognised by B&M and they're building The Swarm in Thorpe Park next year so I'll finally be able to ride one :)

I've been to alot of places and ridden alot of rides but that was one of the most kick ass rides I've seen lately. Great design, theming is on par with Disney and Universal, and its scary at many points. Great ride!

Well, we've officially got one of these coming to Six Flags Great America, my home park. Losing Iron Wolf, but frankly, its historical significance aside, that's not much of a loss. Still, the Dollywood Wing Rider is going to have some record-breaking element, so that's something to watch.

I would find myself on one side of the plane wings. I noticed plenty of touch and gos every time this ride made swooping turns. "Almost out of control" thing I believe. =)

Merlin definitely have gone all out with themeing, truly spectacular. The themeing is always an important factor in coasters. It truly wouldn't be as fun without the close interactions and foot/head choppers. I just hope that they'll continue this level of themeing with The Swarm. Thorpe really lacks decent themeing.
