Raptors and Wyverns Overpopulation bug - ARK Fear Evolved 3

A known bug going around on some servers running the Fear Evolved 3 event for 2019's ARK Survival Evolved Halloween. It has been confirmed on Valguero and Ragnarok. Deinonychus are no longer spawning, and in their place: a neverending overspawn of raptors. Fire wyverns are also spawning in crazy numbers. Probably something to do with the addition of zombie wyverns that also spawn in the same area. Solution? Until Wild Card releases a fix, we simply disabled the raptor and fire wyvern spawns on our server.

i have the same problem on official legacy but with less raptors and ice wyverns. It seems like the bug is that the ice spawns are replaced by fire spawns and the deinos are being replaced by raptors

for Valguero Use this commands in Game.ini for dedicated Servers ;) NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="BionicRaptor_Character_BP_C",ToClassName="") NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Raptor_Character_BP_C",ToClassName="") replace the raptors and tek-raptors by nothing -> no raptors, but no overpopulation :x

Hosting a non-dedicated server private on Valguero. Can't go to the chalk hills for anything cause it's swarming with raptors. Go anywhere near the icetrench and a fat mass of wyverns spawns in. Had to use destroywilddinos a couple times over the past couple days to keep my entire base being wiped by a horde of wyverns.

my lan world had this problem. about to turn off raptors and see if that works but i was otw to get an egg when i realized it wasn't just raptors.

Im playing on ragnarock and ive got it with all wytherns but does anyone know how to fix it

Might be a different bug. At the time, the only way we knew how to temporarily "fix" it was to disable the spawn of them altogether. You can do so by changing their spawn name to be just blank. Beyond that, we had to wait until Wildcard released a patch.

I was not hit with this, are the spawns only happening in some areas of the map?

Ragnarok has a ice wyvern bug too, everywhere in the snow

This update corrupted the installation of the game , after 4 days of downloading its stuck on the last 20% of the update . I will have to cancel and start again of wait for the next update . I have the worst luck with this game , i love it but the glitches , updates , downloads are very problematic if you have slow internet speeds . I should have bought the disc version .

Happens in single player too. I have to "destroyall_raptor_character_bp_c" every five minutes just to be able to build my base without any hungry murderlizards uselessly scratching at me (using creative mode, so they can't actually touch me, but they're still very annoying). Seriously, there are herds of them. I guess I'll have to play around with the .ini and see if it helps.
