Davion Mitchell needs to be reprimanded as well. This guy is not backup calibre let alone a starting point guard. When your main guard can’t hit floaters or open jump shots, good luck with spacing. I see way more upside in Shead. Just my opinion!!

He had a bad game, some games guys have no energy, no pop, no effort, a coach needs to recognize that and not have him in at that point, boucher could have hit those shots, gave them energy they need. Ochia has played really good all season. But this will either motivate, or crumble his confidence. Coach's should never blame one player, when no one can hit free throws, scottie had a great game but he missed shots to. Scottie should have helped on the last play, everyone in the building knew he wasn't passing it. And the iso ball at the end of close games is killing us, unless your tanking

Yes, it was inappropriate because these kinds of losses are coaching failures first and foremost. Great coaches shoulder that blame. Bad coaches (and Doc Rivers (so yeah, just bad coaches)) shift that blame to players. Players have off nights, players make mistakes. But coaches blow leads. Coaching causes teams to crumble in clutch consistently. So when it's this ongoing of a pattern, the coach should zip it until he gets his own crap together. By all means, be harsh in practice, all that. But publicly calling out a guy having an off night in this one game when the pattern this year has been crumbling in the clutch over and over regardless of who is hot or not is just scapegoating.

Davion Mitchell is by far the least productive, most frustrating player. Offensively, he is severely limited and he his decision making skill is basically non-existent. The number of times I've watched him pass into traffic when he has a player wide open is mind boggling. Just give his minutes to Shead.

@@gurshankhela934 I 100% agree with you, but I feel it wasnt fully Scottie's fault yesterday. Remember that he was the one to hit the game tying shot with 20 seconds left. Scottie made great passes and RJ and Yak missed their layups. Scottie is the leader of the team, but what can he do more than he does already? We just need other players to be better around him and that takes time to gel.
