Raps are hoping to trade Brown as priority and Boucher as the secondary priority. They are not shopping Olynk and have commited to not do so when he gave them a small discount to extend. It would have to be something exceptional for him to be included - he’s the new garret temple whom still can play significant by the numbers time. The intent at least is Kelly is to retire as a Raptor and stay around the front office coaching staff and the national team leadership. He’s got likely 4-5 seasons left by math - though his game hasn’t declined yet. GSW isn’t going to include picks anymore. And they don’t value expiring that much since they got under the cap. Aprons - they’d rather sign them as free agents and not have to give up assets. unless it’s a deal for Kuminga or Wiggens and it won’t be - Raps won’t be trading with warriors. Which sucks but is the reality. Another thing the raps could do is Nothing. Let the expirings expire. The raps have a good team that needs this year to gel. But when everyone is healthy they are fast and effective. Raps have all their picks and a few extra. This is a sneaky good spot the team is in once the team is healthy.

@ben rogers kelly olynyk value not having played and not much time till trade deadline, likely a late 2nd from a contender for salary filler back. chris boucher may get you a late 1st for contract filler back. but you have to move boucher unless you plan on paying him 64 million over 4 years in a new contract. bruce brown value having not played and little time till trade deadline, 2nd round pick and contract filler back. jakob poeltl value a good young player and a 1st round pick or contract filler and a lightly protected pick or contract filler and two first round picks. davion mitchell value two 2nds and salary filler ochai agbaji value top 7 protected pick and young player back rj barett value 3 first round picks and likely 1 unprotected and two with top 2 protection, maybe an unprotected swap in there also

RJ is definitely not worth 3 first round picks + swaps. And ochai isn’t worth a first round pick + a young player. You’re way overvaluing them.

@@giovanni-ed7zq first of all RJ is averaging 23.8 ppg and that’s due to very high usage because of injuries to guys like Scottie and IQ. He will not average 25-30 ppg this season that’s a horrible take. Secondly, he’s not going to be an all star. His stats are going to come back down to earth as guys return from injury and his usage declines. But he wouldn’t even make all star if the votes were today. Who is he beating out? If any team was willing to offer 3 or more first round picks for RJ Barrett he’d be gone in a heartbeat. Casual raptors fans have always overvalued their players. Respectfully you need a reality check.

bruce brown because he makes so much, will be very hard to trade for contenders cuz of new cba rules. its likely if bruce brown is traded it will be for a bad longer term contract for a protected 1st like brown for KCP from magic for a late 1st from magic in 2025 for 3 years of KCP . thats probably the best offer you get. if his value is low and he plays like shit, the brown likely get you a 2nd and a bad contract back.
