I was lucky enough to get this stunning Rapunzel doll. She is my favorite princess , so it was very important to me. I agree with all your points. I would have liked longer sleeves. But even though the first Rapunzel has a nicer dress, this new one is my favorite between the two, because she finally looks like her. I can see why people who debox their dolls have switched the dresses , putting this new doll in the first dress. But because I don’t debox, to retail value, and keep the dolls free from dust, I won’t be switching dresses. I love how you have your collection displayed. Thanks for you review.

A nice review of a gorgeous LE doll! I've also watched a deboxer's review of this doll and one possible flaw/shortcut she noted was the use of a 'half-skirt' (I don't know what to call this!) similar to that on the Queen Anna LE. But to folks like us who keep them boxed I wouldn't say that's really a flaw; I think the volume of her skirts look great regardless. I find it an interesting little detail that the packaging of an ostensibly American product (made in China) uses bilingual English/French. Everything sold in Canada is required to be bilingual so perhaps this is a rarer instance of Canadian influence on the USA, instead of the much more common vice-versa. I heard this doll got a fair bit of hate online but some points were totally unwarranted, like Rapunzel's bare feet here. It's a part of her character that she never wears shoes so that's a strange point of contention to raise about this doll.

My doll was so pinned down at the bottom that it is impossible to see her feet. Even if she had beautiful shoes, as a person who doesn't de-box, I wouldn't be able to see them. Plus, Rapunzel not wearing shoes is part of her character and totally fitting for this LE. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but when I hear things about some releases, I can't help but scratch my head and laugh. Thanks for watching!
