Not degrade them and make them feel small, especially for things that you've done yourself. I've heard a lot of people that know her off camera that she's not like that in real life.. she separates the show from real life.. unfortunately rockelle/Rachel isn't able to do that... So I think lala goes hard and says things on camera she wouldn't normally say in real life. At least I hope that's the case... It seems like every one on the show except rockelle is able to separate reality TV from reality

As someone who was cheated on I can confirm that I really disliked Raquel HOWEVER I did not agree with the level of vitriol thrown her way by the other cast mates! It's one thing for Ariana to be upset and to insult her etc but the others were taking turns torturing her! It felt so unfair and CRUEL. Thank you Beth for doing this interview. While I still dont like Raquel's character for engaging in that affair, I also do not agree with the actions the cast did and that Bravo allowed for it all to happen the way it did. It was evil.

Ariana cheated with Tom while he was still with Kristen. Jax cheated on Stassi with Kristen. Scheana was in a relationship for two years with Eddie Cibrian while he was married to Brandi Granville. Honestly, Bethenny is such a gift. I love women encouraging women to speak and to accept all of their being, flaws and all. This was a garbage situation - and a life learning experience for all involved. A lot of us screw up like this in life (not exactly like this, but in really impactful ways) when we're young. Agree! This interview was so off base and cringe worthy because she didn't have the whole back story and just treated Rachel as if she was this poor, innocent, abused individual. There was alot of pathological, deceptive, gas lighting and crazy making behaviour Rachel engaged in which Bethany totally missed. I usually respect Bethany. but this just felt ugly and pathetic the way her lack of background on Rachel and her behaviour throughout the season turned this interview into being so off base and almost being lured it and gaslit by Rachel during this very interview.....I felt as if Rachel essentially misrepesented herself to Bethany just as she misreprsented herself to Ariana and other cast members during and after during the Scandoval season. Poor preppring for this interview. This actually was infuriating to watch.

I also spent 90 days in The Meadows but in Pa. What started as 30 days made me want to stay 90. Mine was for Addiction and PTSD issues. It's a great program. Yes, it was like a country club too but I beat my addiction and I am happy for her. I can't imagine what it is like today but that was 86. I am clean 37 years.

@@hunkerdown Thank you so much. It's a great program. I was upset with people saying she was at a resort. Meadows is indeed, like a country club but there's a strict 7am -5pm schedule. After hours they had a lot of cool activities for us and I can see how it helped me in real life situations. Socializing without needing to be high. I'm proud of not using iv drugs More than half my life 🥰.

@@theresaterry164 Thank you so much ❤️. It's not a Christian facility but I was saved while there. Went in an IV drug addict and came out clean and a very grateful child of a mighty God. I made life long friends there. I actually found my love of art while there. Picked up a bass guitar and learned it. It was kinda like a healthy addition to God and music. However ironically I chose a professional that made drugs free and readily available to me in the music industry. I was never tempted after I left the meadows. I will forever be grateful to my late Daddy for spending the 30 grand to get me healthy 🥰. That's 1986. I can't imagine what it costs today. I never jumped on the hate wagon and felt sorry for Rachel. She seems to be getting healthier every day and I am happy for her.

Rachael sounds very scripted. She cheated with her best friends man. She talked about Arianna and Sheena being her best friends and yet she she lied all the time to both of them. OMG, you can in NO Way compare what she did to what they did in their early 20's. All I hear is her making excuses and putting blame on others. The producers didn't know about Tom and Rachael until Arianna called them. How do we know that? they pulled cameras off BH to come back to film VPR. That NEVER happens. Things that we saw with our own eyes, she is still lying, continues to show zero remorse really at all. Lala did get one thing right, she does need help, and Lala said that once to her on the show, and once at the reunion and Lala wasn't mean, she was honest and firm. Never had a close convo? I remember a convo at a bar about Arianna's sex life with Tom, and if she felt she was staying in the relationship. She's still lying. This woman is out of touch with reality for whatever reason, but she has learned what to say, and maybe has learned there is a line not to be crossed. I think this woman is a classic example on why Bravo is taking advantage of people who have issues and exploit them for money. .

If you have been in an abusive relationship you would get this. My abuser was the last person I allowed myself to draw boundaries with. Mostly due to childhood trauma, abandonment wounds and I has a trauma bond with him.. but the fact that she gave him her keys makes sense to me. He was the only person she had anymore at that point and up until that point he has made her believe he truly loved her.

Thank you SO much for this interview. I watched the reunion and honestly felt like Rachelle deserved it. When you reread the words and things that were said to her, I felt disgusted in myself. At the time I was in a haze and in group mentality and even if everything was 100% true (which at the time I thought was the truth) no human deserves that. And now learning that it was so exaggerated makes me realize how I have become desensitized to this type of abuse in reality tv, and I am now committed to make a change in myself.

They were never close if you have watched every season. Go back to this season when Lala and Katie told Ariana what they thought was going on and Ariana said but she’s my BF, I don’t believe she’d do that to me. Even when she said it, you could tell she didn’t believe they were BF’s, but it had to be said, for this whole victim mentality to play out. They were not BF’s. Her eyes were downcast when she said it, which people do when they lie. Plus it was the worst acting job for anyone to believe it when she said it. That’s when I knew this was all contrived to play out a certain way. To make the whole story more salacious.

What’s disturbing about this interview is how both of these women try to excuse Raquel’s actions by blaming bravo and the producers for “putting” Raquel in this situation. Raquel CHOSE to drink too much during the show, Raquel CHOSE to be on the show, and Raquel CHOSE (as an almost 30 year old adult) to have a 7 month long affair with her best friends boyfriend. Raquel did a truly despicable thing & there is absolutely no excuse or explanation for how or why because what she did is completely unfathomable.

Obviously, some people weren't paying attention. Rachel apologized and got counseling! She took ownership of her mistakes, and they were not best friends! I hope nothing ever happens to some of these people in the future where they are put in a situation that they're really not ready to handle. No matter what people think reality TV is not reality, it is bits and pieces of the truth. It must be really difficult to be perfect. I'm not condoning her actions, but I know people do make mistakes in their lives, and it takes a lot of guts to accept responsibility for something that has hurt so many people. I do agree with Bethany’s point of view about punishment being different from abuse. However, I’m shocked that Raquel is sitting here thinking she’s a victim. Using statements like “how did I get caught up in this” “Ariana and I were never best friends”. Calling scheana a best friend in air quotes…. To me it seems like she has no self awareness of how she landed herself in that situation, made herself a target of hate from her cast mates. Everything is very passive in her mind. And if you don’t have self awareness of how you messed up once, you’re doomed to repeat the same mistakes again. Raquel may not be subhuman…..but she is someone who is dangerous to have around because she will carelessly do things that can ruin lives and then go “how did this happen to me”. Not sure what you just watched but she talks significantly about, needing to learn why she is doing what she is doing, what is fueling her to do it and how can she change it going forward. She has taken a great deal of responsibility for her actions and has made proper steps (in getting help) to understand herself and her own behavior. Her job isn't to fix everyone around her, her job is to fix herself. And that's what she is trying to do. She can't worry about everyone else's opinions right now and her only focus is on herself, which to many people that don't understand what self-love is, they will mix it up with being self-fish. I would imagine it is hard to navigate, understand and not have some level of victim feelings; when an entire cast is profiting, marketing off of the scandal, and walking around as though they are innocent. While we all know they are not and have all engaged in affairs, while Rachel has been brutalized, villainized, and shamed, no money coming in; while all her cast members are responsible for the same actions and have capitalized off of it. Arianna and Tom capitalized off of the scandal with Kristen. Brittany and Jax off of his affair, Schena and all her cheating, mistress, and drug addict ex husband, Lala and all her crap. The list goes on and on and they have all capitalized off of it, in one way or another. Why should she be any different? Why does everyone want to hold her to a different standard, but let everyone else off easily.

There is so much complexity to life, people's realities, and their personalities as it is. Reality TV is not showing us how people actually are per se because producers on Bravo want as much drama as they can get and they encourage really low and shallow sides of people to come out. Rachel, I became a viewer of the show because everyone was talking about Scandoval, and I didn't know what the big deal was, so I quickly caught up over the last few weeks, and just got to the reunion today. The reunion was brutal and it was like the Bravo execs pitted your cast mates against you, and let go of the leashes for ratings. Watching this interview made me realize that this was a work situation and your employers had a duty to ensure that you were emotionally safe. Please, please, please see a lawyer and take legal action against Bravo. This was intentional infliction of emotional distress. I know confronting Bravo and pursuing litigation would expose you to further stress, but there have to be guardrails and consequences for Bravo and the execs, too. They dismissed your humanity and abused their power for profit, and that's not okay. And you're human... humans f**k up and relationships are messy, but Tom was in the "committed" relationship with Ariana, not you--and if he wanted out, he should have grown a pair. As a society we have to do better, and that only happens when people challenge those in power. I'm impressed with all the work you've done on yourself to come out of this, and inspired and proud of how much you've grown. I also thought It was a little weird at the end that she was calling out cast members for making money off this, but, then she was mad that Bravo wasn't going to pay her the money she wanted. If they did she would have stayed despite how it would have an impact on her mental health. So... that was just a little off. seems like she might be a little jealous that she didn't get paid like the other cast members did. The way she was treated at the reunion (which was taped a only a few weeks after the scandal broke) and the trolls making threats..... no way at all would I ever condone that, that was horrible to watch..... however, she has still not taken accountability for what she has done. Rather she has pretty much said everything was fake (and it may have been) and none of it is her fault and it's all on Bravo (the hand that fed her for the last 5 seasons). Thank you Bethany, for being the truly compassionate person that you are and for doing the right thing, despite any repercussions that might come. Rachel (and I call her that because she’s choosing to be referred to as such and NOT because others chose to) needed someone to care enough about her and to give her a safe place to speak and the fact that it was you does not surprise me. You’re a class act. Thank you for also shining a light into how reality tv actually works. It really was such an enlightening interview and an aspect of this whole “scandal” that not many have probably considered. I wish Rachel well and just want her to know that I’m routing for her.

Bethany, you are an amazing and strong lady. You too have come so far in your life and to watch you reach out and help Rachel is beyond measure. I hope 11.5 million people watch this video and hold the people accountable for this young girls mental health. My husband and I have watched this show from the beginning and after your podcast, interview whatever you want to call it I will NEVER watch this show again. I really am disgusted with the whole cast of bravo, and will no longer support it as a whole. the fact that they took away her right to her mental health advocate the day before. the fact that they would not cover her medical expenses after the trauma they allowed and got paid off of. it tells you exactly who these people are to their core and how they treat their employees. how they allow abusive behavior as a means to an end--the paycheck. seeing the reunion really made me so nauseous at how they all took their beating at her. im so glad youre starting a podcast, Rachel! so glad you are standing for the underdog, Bethany, and for the truth!

Totally agree. I was so surprised she didn't watch Rachel's journey on the show. She really needs to interview Tom and maybe Sheena and Arianna. There are always two sides, and the truth is in the middle. There are people who can handle reality shows, and some are. Rachel is not one who should have tried reality TV. My opinion. And Hippa has nothing to do with this.

HIPAA only applies to medical professionals who have taken a hippa oath. Hippa does not apply to peers in a treatment facility although frowned upon to divulge the treatment of other participants. It also would not apply to Andy as he's not a medical professional as well as he was giving his opinion about her being medicated and not stating a matter of fact. You could argue that an employer could not divulge your medications however he employs her to reveal her reality so.........

HIPAA actually stands for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. This is not about the Hippocractic Oath. HIPAA applies to health insurance companies, medical providers, anyone who works with or handles sensitive medical information or records, governmental agencies that handle medical information and clearing houses. You do not have to be a medical provider to violate someone's Hippa rights.

Then why if I call your Drs office and say give all medical info on a stranger. They say they can not give out that info because hippa prevents them. So I should say to them No they need to give the info I want because I'm not an insurance company & hippa doesn't protect that info I want to know. 🤔

If you want your medical information to go to someone specific, you can sign a release for it. Certain medical information can not be provided over the phone, as they can not confirm your identity.

Bravo (no pun intended) to “Rachel” and to Bethany for exposing “Rachel’s Side FINALLY!” I feel that what the cast members did at The Reunion was absolutely inhuman, disgusting and utterly repulsive…they basically put an HUGE Scarlett Letter “A” on her and stoned her on National TV instead of treating her with humanity and allowing her to tell her side!!! Yes…her “behavior” was wrong but she has admitted she was wrong, apologized and she owns her mistakes and has gotten professional help and I think that speaks volumes about her character and her ability to love herself and others! She was abused, bullied, humiliated and it was uncalled for and disgusting while a network and fellow cast members made money in her pain!!! What about TOM?!?! It takes 2 to Tango and he is just as much at fault!! God Bless Rachel, her family and Bethany for finally speaking Rachel’s truth! We ALL make mistakes and I think Rachel should hold her head up high for taking the Christian High Road and may she have a blessed, happy, healthy, abundant, love filled long life ahead for her! They sadly live on the superficial surface and follow the cattle all day. One day the uninformed will stop, look inwards and hopefully get enlightened on the root cause of why they react so negatively & realize how much of their lives & thoughts were mimicked projections absorbed through their entire lives & surroundings. Rachel Leviss finally got her story out and good for her cuz she did what all accountable people should do, apologize & she even walked the walk to get treatment for her acts and now no one should keep abusing her. It’s forgiveness time & we need to applaud rehabilitation, not to cancel those who try betterment & let’s move on to the next thing that needs to get fixed like the bigger story here which is Tom & Ariana having an illegal sex tape on Rachel and how gross is that, spreading that video around? How devious is that? Crickets to that abuse…but let’s keep abusing Rachel…smh 🤦‍♀️ Tom & Ariana (who still live together) still haven’t apologized on that video he made or show they rehabilitated to understand that retaliation behavior of abuse cuz it’s in their roots and then when that’s done they can get to their authentic self and should truly move on. ✌️
