Really appreciate the explanation and comparison. There's little information on brunette colors since so many reviewers focus on blondes. Colors are usually not well explained on retail sites, and the pictures are often too small to be helpful. Much easier to see the differences in a comparison like yours.

I love SS Iced Java, it's by FAR the most natural looking "dark brunette but not too black and not too red" I've ever seen. It's such a perfect match to my dark brown hair you couldn't tell with a microscope which is me and which is wig; and I think it works the same on most natural brunettes. I hope they never discontinue that one!

Thanks for the color comparisons! Do you know of any medium brunette that has a lighter blond highlight. I am not a fan of the gold colors and they tend to be warm. If so, I would love to see a review of it. I've tried the RW iced colors but they tend to have too much blond vs brown. YOU LOOK FANTASTIC!

Just my two cents: Belle Tress' Coolest Ash Brown is lighter than either of these and there's no red or warmth in it at all. Another similar color is Jon Renau's 8rh14.

Which Raquel Welch color is closest to Kate Middleton's hair? I need to match her for a costume party.

Oh my gosh, what a fun costume! I really have no idea... but I think if you get close with a medium brown with some auburn you will be fine. I pulled up pictures and her hair color looks different in each one because of the different lighting... and I think she gets is colored periodically so it isn't the same all the time. Between these two I would go with the iced mocha as it is a little lighter.

Hi! I am so sorry I missed this comment. You are not the first person who told me this... I tried scrolling through wigs one day to see if I could find one and never came across my picture... I gave up after about 20 pages of wigs, lol. I did end up buying one that was using stolen Jon Renau Ignite pictures, though..... I am going to make a video showing them side by side and warning people to be careful if buying from them.
