Hi, you look beautiful in that particular topper and color! I do have a few questions: where do you get your wigs from? There’s so many wig companies online and very few have a good standing with their customers. Also, do you find that the true to life synthetic fibers are shiny? Thank you so much for your time. Thank you so much for this comment. I am very sorry that I missed it - I've kept you waiting so long for a response. You're right - there are a lot of companies out there, so it can be tricky, but most approved vendors are listed on the websites of each company, but I personally work with The Wig Company (TWC) for my Raquel Welch pieces. They are closesly affiliated with HairUWear (the company that owns Raquel Welch Wigs), and I know that they communicate often. I have a commission code for 30% off there on top of sale prices, so you can get pieces at a reduced cost. The code, if you're interested, is ASHLEY30 I also really love Cloud9wigs.com because she's a small shop and a lovely person. I also have a commission code with her LOCKS30 if you're intereted. The key, for sure, its to check the site, and make sure that it has a mailing address that is in the territory from where you're shipping - that they have a good return policy - and that their socials all match up and demonstrate that it's not a scam. Their customer service is something that you'll only know about once you purchase; however, the companies that I listed above are excellent - and I'm happy to help with them in any way that I can. With regards to the fibres - some can be more shiny than others. It depends on the brand and the colour. I personally like the RW colours and find them to be pretty realistic. Some of the most realistic fibres I've seen come from CSC, but the hairlines are not nearly as natural as RW. In the even of shine, I always suggest baby powder - my hack that is now making the rounds in the hair world. Dry shampoo works too! I hope this was helpful. Again - I apologize for the wait. Looks great. I have an unrelated question, how do you get lace near ear tabs to lay flat? I have a new wig and when I put it on today the lace wanted to curl up. I’d rather not use adhesives if I don’t have to.

This is a great question. Is the wg from Raquel Welch? Different wigs have different constructions, so it's a bit difficult for me to say, but my personal preference is to cut far enough back that the lace becomes undetectable. This does compromise the wig somewhat, so please do this at your own risk, but I find it best for me to get that ear tuck, even if it means that I cut off some of the hair.

Thanks for the great video! I only look good in a side part - Is it better to clip it in centered on my head and create a side part vs positioning it to the side?

I often offset the position of my toppers, but you do run the risk of the length on each side of your hair being less even. 🙈

I also offset my last one and now I thought I would do it properly with my new one and get it cut to accommodate the proper positioning -- but I don't like having the clip right in the center of my forehead and it's awkward figuring out where the part needs to be. Good to know a pro like you offsets them, LOL. I purchased the Go All Out 16" in shaded cappucino thanks to your reviews, and it's beautiful. (My only issue is that it doesn't have the face-framing blonde highlights like it does in most other RW styles.)

Pretty piece. Can this piece be clipped into a wig grip? My bio hair is so fragile, the clips terrify me!

You can definitely use a topper grip with your hair toppers. :) I will say that this piece is lightweight though, so traction alopecia shouldn't be an issue. I totally understand the concern though as someone with fragile hair.

Looks beautiful on you!! Just curious, have you tried doing a side part on this? I’m not overly fond of a front clip due to my sparse hair there. Wondering if I could position it off centre?

You could position it off center, but the bait length would be uneven. Swapping the clip for a comb would be an easy fix though!
